The homestead trip was just great...very smooth trip out, the women were really knowledgeable and experts about local fish and flora. The marshmallows and campfire was fun!! Really worth it....

This was a fun and educational experience. We really enjoyed the boat ride on Silver Bay, and the s'mores at the Homestead was fun. This woman ran tour experience is a wonderful experience.
Wilderness Homestead was excellent.

You see caged bears. But I was hoping to pet baby bears. The old homestead house was interesting and the staff out there were excellent. Very excellent.

The bear sanctuary was incredible in itself, but adding the homestead experience to it made it even better! Sitting around the campfire, eating Smores, bonding with folks from all areas of the world made this a unique, cozy, very memorable experience. Everyone involved in the tour was fun, positive, and extremely knowledgeable. They honestly love what they do, and it shows! I highly recommend this experience!

We loved this tour! Fortress of the Bear was a hit with our teens and we loved the mission to save orphaned cubs. We only spent about 45 min at this location, but it was enough. The really hit of this trip is the boat out to the Silver Bay homestead. The vessel was new and very nice! The views on the way out and in were amazing. We loved the campfire and s’mores when we arrived, walking the stone beach and hearing the local stories around the fire. The salmon snacks were very good! Would definitely recommend or do again when in the area!
