Experience the awe-inspiring Nebuta Festival, a renowned cultural event in Aomori, featuring dazzling three-dimensional floats illuminating the night.
You can watch the parade from the paid reserved seats, avoiding crowds. Also you'll have bento box dinner at the viewing seat.
The floats are pushed along the street by human power, weaving back and forth, and spinning around for the crowd. They are often as wide as nine meters and as tall as five meters! The nebuta dancers, called “haneto” wearing flashy outfits, jump and dance as they shout “Rassera, Rassera.”

Aomori is a beautiful town. The Nebuta festival was impressive and our children really enjoyed the parade. We arrived in time to enjoy a Bento Box meal and then we went to our assigned seats. Those marching in the parade engaged with the audience and our children enjoyed the many bells they received. Nearby you could buy festival related merchandise such as masks, Tshirts, bells and costumes in case you wanted to walk in the parade. The event was highly organized and enjoyable.

Excellent. The meeting and picking up the tickets was very well organized. The bento box included exceeded our expectations. The Nebuta festival and parade was so much fun! Highly recommend.
