2.00Originally this was supposed to be a full day tour including Monserrat. When the Pope decided to come to Barcelona, the tour operator reported that logistics would be very difficult so it was shortened to a half day city tour. Although the driver/guide was very friendly, the whole tour was basically a drive by and was not what we had in mind. It probably should have been cancelled given the circumstances.

5.00Tour was fab and lots of information given. Walking part of tour was good and nice to see Barcelona for another perspective. Sagrada Família stop was excellent and good to see right the way around and guide stopped at all the points to get great photos. Spain Day tours kept in contact throughout booking process and then afterwards with clear instructions on where to meet for pick up and the long queues the port had with EES gates (gates were quick on the day we disembarked) Picked us up at port and then dropped us at airport which was great as we had later flight, filled in the day nicely and was good to see Barcelona in a few hours.

5.00I was picked up on time from the port after my transatlantic cruise on the Brilliance of the Seas. I joined a small group tour. Alex was our driver/guide. The day was fantastic. Montserrat is beautiful. He explained everything to us and our time there was just perfect. One couple requested to take the cable car down and he pivoted and offered it to all of us. He met us at the bottom of the cable car while one couple chose to drive down with him. Alex was friendly and informative. He gave us a wonderful tour of Barcelona and dropped us off at various hotels. I will definitely book again the next time I am in Barcelona.

2.00We did not have a good experience on this trip. We were seated in the 3rd row in a van and it was difficult to hear the driver/guide especially while driving on a highway. We asked him to speak louder and the driver/guide told us “you need to clean out your ear!” Needless to say, the tour went down hill for us after that comment. We travel a lot and hav had many tours through Viator but this was the first experience with a guide being so rude.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our Barcelona & Montserrat tour with Spain Day Tours. Everything was very well organized, from the pick up at the port to the timing of the tour and drop off at our hotel in Barcelona. The van was new, clean and comfortable and we had a nice and careful driver. Our tour guide was easy to find and on time. She was excellent, very engaging and gave us plenty of information about the places, we were visiting. Montserrat is really amazing and the time we spent there was just right. The city tour by van gave us a good overview of Barcelona and covered most of the famous sights. The following walking tour through the old parts of the city was very interesting and at a good pace. Our knowledgeable guide did a great job. We had a fabulous day. Highly recommended!
