Amazing cahuita/cacao tour

5.00It was a spontaneous meeting at Cahuita National Park. We had such an amazing day, filled with information about Costa Rica, its wildlife, lots of Spanish words, and typical local Costa Rican expressions. We played games, danced, and had a wonderful time together. The following day, we were invited to enjoy cacao with his family and friends. This was also incredible—we laughed all day and learned so much about all kinds of topics, including nature, food, culture, and especially cacao. We can honestly say that Shailo is a wonderful person: approachable, open-minded, friendly, and great company. We truly enjoyed these two days, and it was all thanks to you!!!!!! He helped us locate many animals and taught us about them; he also provided us with many interesting facts about the culture of this area of the Caribbean in Costa Rica. Without him, we would have hardly seen any animals in the park, so we left delighted with his tour. I recommend 100%

5.00Shailo did an amazing job and we really enjoyed the tour. He really took his time to explain the flora, fauna and the history of Cahuita and its natural park. Besides that, he answered all our questions with patience and made us all laugh with his sense of humor.

5.00We went on a private tour with Shailo in Cahuita National Park. He was a fantastic guide, easy going, very personalized and catered perfectly to the needs of our family (4year old and a baby) We saw many sloths (8) , 2 of them with babies, iguanas, lizards, fancy birds, tucan , coati and howler monkeys. We had a great time with Shailo and can only recommend a tour with him!😍

5.00Our guide Shailo was amazing! He was so kind, friendly, and so knowledgeable of all things wildlife/fauna. My family and I had such a great time with him during our hike! He was so able to translate things in English for one of our family members which made everyone feel very included. He was able to spot so many beautiful animals and creatures right away! We had LOTS of laughs and so much learning 😀 Shailo is truly one of a kind! Such a kind spirit and has a great energy 🙏🏻 We all felt like we were young kids again exploring our beautiful nature. He really made our trip to Cahuita National Park very memorable! ❤️ I HIGHLY recommend having him as your guide! Shailo is exceptional! Thank you for everything, Shailo, our mopri 🥹! Pura Vida 🤙🏽☺️

5.00Shailo showed us an amazing day! He came highly recommended by our (very informed) host. Shailo lived up to the hype (and more!). He effortlessly engaged my teenaged sons with his knowledge of the fish and wildlife. His ability to spot animals was uncanny. Shailo has a wonderful personality- easy going and unassuming, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend a day with him!

5.00Shailo was great! We had a great time and saw lots of animals including sloths, monkeys, and snakes. He was very accommodating for a group of Americans that wanted to practice some Spanish, but had varyling levels of proficiency. I'd highly recommend this tour in Cahuita!

5.00Shailo is an excellent guide who made me discover plenty of wildlife and also history about the Cahuita Park and the region in general. I also did the tour in the Bribri region and prepared chocolate with indigenous people, such a unique experience! I learned so much with him, if you want an authentic experience in Cahuita, do choose him without hesitation.

5.00The tour was shorter than advertised (two hours, not three), but Shailo was an AMAZING guide! He could spot animals that we would have NEVER seen on our own, and it was really cool to see them through his telescope. We would do it again, and we thought it was well worth the money.
