Casablanca walking tour

5.00The tour guide was friendly and informative. We had some trouble finding each other because we were waiting at different areas of "the front of the train station". He was actually waiting at what I would have said is the side of the station. He was not happy with me about this. Perhaps it could be made clearer on the info about the tour. I did have to remind him that snacks and water were included in the tour but other than that he took us to all the places mentioned in the itinerary, although there was no time to go inside the Mosque even though I had been told there would be. This was not his fault. He kindly allowed a Russian lady we met in the old medina to join us for a while and then escorted her to the exit. I was more or less talked into buying some face cream (for A$60.00) at one of the shops in the market area so I'm hoping the guide received some commission on that sale, even though he said he doesn't. I did feel under some pressure in that experience.

5.00Wonderful tour with Achraf. My wife and I explored the Hassan II mosque, Corniche, the Old town and more. Achraf explained everything in detail and made us feel very welcome . Highly recommend!

5.00Achraf was an amazing tour guide. As a chef and foodies in general, my husband and I very much enjoyed all the food tasting we did. From choosing our own fresh seafood at the market —later cooked at one of the local restaurants— to great pastries and tea, the tour was wonderful. We highly recommend taking a tour with Achraf!

5.00Achraf gave us an amazing tour of Casablanca downtown areas. We went to the market where we picked out the most freshest seafood I have ever had. He was very knowledgeable about the area and talked about much of the history of Casablanca.

The blend of Art Deco, French colonial flair, and Moroccan soul came alive in the quirkiest, most unexpected ways. We explored the “French city in Africa,” but with Achraf’s perspective, it felt more like a movie set where history, architecture, politics, and personal anecdotes all shared the spotlight.
