The cable car will take you up 3842 meters, you have access to different terraces, you will just across the majestic Mont Blanc to snap a picture.

Explore the stunning mountain resort before riding the mountain train to the Ice of Sea : largest french glacier.

Please note that if you take the Aiguille du Midi and Mer de Glace options, you will be provided with a multipass. Multipass which gives access to all the facilities of the Mont Blanc company. If you use this Multipass for a single activity, it will be considered by the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc as used and cannot be refunded if the other activities are closed. The Mont Blanc company offers alternative activities but does not authorize refunds of the multipass.
The train tickets includes the ice caves and the gondola (but these are not garanteed), the train can be open and not the cave, there is no refund is so because it's the same price
The operation of the Aiguille du Midi cable car and Mer de Glace train are both subject to local weather conditions on the day. We cannot know if they open before we arrive there, it's a risk to take
If one of the activity closes, there will be alternative offers, or partial refunds, but the transports won't be refunded in any case
Please note that the official currency of France is the EURO. Swiss francs are unlikely to be accepted in Chamonix
Please note: guide will be present with you on the bus and the village. You will have free time in the cable car or train and the guide will meet you after.
Please note that due to maintenance works in Chamonix, some attractions will be temporarily closed: Mer de Glace (03.11 - 21.11) & Aiguille du Midi (03.11 - 19.12). Alternative tours will be offered during this period.

4.00Be wary of weather. We encountered rain, sleet, snow and wind for most of the day. The guide was excellent except for his haranguing about global warming (scam) and kept us informed about all that we saw. The bus was comfortable. The cog wheel train was fun and the history of the area was quite interesting.

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Keytours. Some people are picked up at their hotel, others meet in the centre of Geneva at Gare Routiere between the main train station and the Brunswick Monument right in front of their office. There are a number of tours operating from here but they do a good job of checking that you are on the correct bus. Our guide and driver were excellent, very friendly and informative. I thought that the price of the trip from Geneva to Chamonix was expensive but by the end of the day I changed my mind. The guide was with us for nearly all of the trip except when there was free time to explore which gives a sense of calm and reassurance. The views on both excursions from Chamonix were fabulous. It is worth waiting until a day or two in advance of your preferred date before booking to mitigate against bad weather which could really ruin the trip. It was a fabulous experience.

4.00It was a very long day, but quite worth it. The top of the mountain was worth every part of the experience. I would also check the weather. The railroad was not running so we could not have a chance to experience that and therefore ahead too much discretionary time in Chamonix. If you’re only objective is to go to the mountain, there may be other options available. Our guide Tony, however, was quite engaging knowledgeable and was able to control our crowd in a very scared manner.
