We spent an absolutely fantastic day exploring the caves of Chiang Dao and the villages in the north, and all the credit goes to our guide Bright and our driver Kan! Bright is an exceptional guide: very knowledgeable, super welcoming, and with a deep understanding of the local culture and history. He explained every detail with great passion, answering all our questions and helping us connect with the reality of the villages we visited. Kan, our driver, was impeccable. Driving in northern Thailand can be challenging, but with him, we always felt 100% safe. The car was spotless, comfortable, and he was extremely punctual and kind in an old-fashioned way.

We had an amazing trip. We really wanted to go to the more rural area of Thailand, which was exactly what we got. The nature was beautiful and it was interesting to see the hill tribes and the Chiang Dao cave. Special thanks to our super friendly guide Bright, who had answers to all of our questions.

No one had applied for the same course on the day, so it was a private tour. The tour was conducted in English, but our guide Nancy spoke a bit of Japanese and was easy to understand, and the driver was even better at Japanese, so we went around stress-free. It was a good experience to see the village of the mountain people not only for sightseeing but also for real life. Chiang Dao Cave is recommended for those who are confident in their feet to some extent, as there are narrow areas where you have to bend over and grab the rocks with both hands to dive through.

We had an amazing experience on our tuk tuk tour around Chiang Mai! Our guide, Saman, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. No matter what we asked, he always had an answer and shared interesting insights that made the whole tour even more enjoyable. Thank you Saman!

Relaxed and extraordinary start with butterflies and orchids. Gentle walk in the hills across the tribe villages, with quirky and colourful souvenirs. A whole other experience when it came to the caves. We weren't warned about poisonous spiders until we came across a couple that stayed away from us. Would be helpful to have more torches as I found myself in the dark when taking a picture. Outer world environment between rocks, bats, crickets and crawling into tiny spaces to go through the caves. Definitely worth doing! Thank you yo our guide and driver, very considerate to everyone's needs.

Our guide Jane was fantastic ! Trip was excellent . First orchid and butterfly farm . Then visited 4 different hill villages . So interesting . Beautiful scenery and learned about culture . Got to visit a home in one of the villages . Bought beautiful handwoven scarf . Then we had delicious casual lunch . Then we went to the sacred caves , which was so unusual and beautiful , and navigating the narrow parts of the caves was fun . Wear shoes with good traction ! If you can request Jane as your guide as she wss very enjoyable to spend the day with , knowledgable , fun and genuine person ! A delight 🙏

The trip was good, Jane our guide was great. She gave us a good overview of the local tribes and she had a vast knowledge of all the plants and trees. She looked after us very well, helped us order lunch and she took photos for us. The one thing I would mention is that in the description it doesn't say that there is crawling and slippery surfaces so make sure you have long trousers and comfy shoes to go into the cave with. The cave experience was amazing.
