I would take this tour over and over it was so good! Everything from the guide, Sara, the driver Sergio, every wine and the food. The scenery on the drive was incredible. We learned so much about the entire process of wine from start to finish. All about the different regions on Tuscany and Chianti regions. I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Very highly recommended.

This tour was so fun! Two different experiences - one small, authentic winery tour in Chianti, and a second with a full meal. The tour bus was very cool as well. Highly recommend! Note that you meet in front of the train station -we had a little trouble finding our meeting spot.

This rating is specifically for the half day dinner & wine safari. We did the full day wine safari two years ago and that was a five star, 10/10, amazing, if you only do one thing, do it tour! Because it was so good, we booked a second tour this year, the half day dinner safari. We went to 2 of the same places as the full day (2 for half day, 3 for whole day) which we were honestly really excited about. The first place (Poggio Torselli) on the half day was under construction 2 years ago, so we got to do a lot more this go around, including the cellar tour. The wine tasting was fantastic and we got to try some new experimental wine. Loved every minute of it! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous, and so is the estate. The second place, Rigana, was disappointing which was sad because it was our favorite during the first trip. During the full day, you do a cellar tour and wine tasting tour. You eat lunch with a few glasses of wine, and after you can go to the shop to purchase another bottle, a glass, or olive oil! We did that last go around and loved it because the scenery is so gorgeous, so we just got to relax with our bottle after lunch. This go around, the wine at dinner wasn’t explained very well so it was really just dinner with two glasses of wine. During the meal a waiter did come by to ask if we wanted to purchase something for after dinner, not explaining to us the shop and bar was closed. We asked our tour guide if it was open, and she said yes, so we kindly declined so we could go to the shop. It was closed though. A few people did order drinks, but the waiter made some rude remarks when they ordered glasses instead of bottles. Honesty, the whole thing was a let down knowing how great the first time was. All that to say, we love walk about tours, but if you can manage, splurge for the full day, which also includes a fantastic tasting at a third place. We would do the full day again, easy!! Additionally, during the full day we were in a unimog with working microphone. This go around we had to use ear radios and they were a bit sketch. I didn’t want to put it on my ear, so ended up not hearing any of the information from the tour. Bring sanitizer just in case. Lastly, the mosquitos at Rigana are brutal. Bring bug spray. Our group was sweet though! Love all the people we met!

My husband and I had the most wonderful time on this tour!!! All the tour guides were so informational and so kind. The bus driver was amazing!! Even on those crazy Tuscan back roads!! We cannot have had a better experience. The dinner we received was soooo delicious and all the wine we tasted was excellent!! The tour had the perfect amount of people and didn’t feel overly crowded but still was able to talk and get to know wonderful people! We couldn’t recommend this enough and a must do Italy experience!!

We had a great experience all in all. It was such a scenic journey to the vineyards on a comfortable 4WD. The driver Labi and our tour guide Sara really did a splendid job of showing us how beautiful Tuscany vineyards are.

We had a great time! Tony was an awesome tour guide, and Mateo and Andrea both shared very good information. The dinner was tasty, too!

A wonderful trip around the Chianti region with a helpful and knowledgable guide/sommelier. The lunch was superb and the wines lovely. The only downside was the ridiculous and immature behaviour of a few who treated the tour as drunken bus party. It’s certainly OK to have a few drinks but ‘keep it together please’.

Awesome tour! Sara took care of us from start to finish. My wife and I have opposite food restrictions. Sara just handled it at each stop. Never made it awkward, never missed a beat. That made our day. Fabio as our driver was cool too and drove the 4x4 like a real pro. The wine was fun to taste and learn about. I left with a real appreciation for what one grape can do in so many different ways. Sangiovese grapes are a hit! The scenery in Tuscany was movie like. Took a ton of pictures. You’ll have a great time!
