We depart Galway at 10:00 and begin your tour by exploring the Burren region. The first stop is Dunguaire Castle and Kinvara, where we take approximately 15 minutes to view the outside of the castle. Continuing on to Poulnabrone Dolmen, one of the most ancient religious sites in Ireland at 5800 years old, we make another short stop of approximately 10-15 minutes.
We then stop in the quaint fishing village of Doolin to enjoy some lunch for around 45-50 minutes (lunch is NOT included in the ticket cost).
After that, we arrive at the Cliffs of Moher where we have a stop of 2 hours of free time. This is the highlight of the day with ample time to walk the cliff edge and enjoy one of the most incredible natural sites in the world!
Once finished, we return to Galway via the Coast Road with spectacular views over the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, returning to Galway city centre at 18:15.

Tommy was a great guide for our trip out to the Cliffs of Moher. He was the perfect mix of facts, stories and bad jokes. Sadly, the weather was not great, so we couldn’t see much. I guess we will have to come back!

It was a wonderful trip! My English isn't perfect, but the bus driver + tour guide (2in1) was very helpful. It has been a long-standing dream of mine to see the Cliffs of Moher. Thanks!

This tour was amazing. Thanks to Galway Tour and especially to Patrick; he is the perfect guide: professional, experienced and with a great sense of humor. He gave us so many interesting information about Ireland and Irish people throughout the whole day. We will never forget the beauty of the places we have visited. This tour it's the perfect solution if you want to visit the area without driving or without spending hours on planning. The tour arrangement was smooth and easy through Viator. I totally recommend this experience if you're in Galway.l

Cliffs of Moher and Burren tour (Bought on Viator and done with Galway Tour Company) Gary was our driver and guide (how can you concentrate on driving those narrow roads and sharp turns, while talking and animating us?! It amazes me!) . The first part of the tour was a lot of explanation on dry stone walls formation, interesting explanation on activities done here (the oyster festival, the hookers boats gathering, a bit on religion, etc.). I could have had more on Ireland’s history. Don’t walk around the Dunguaire Castle (narrow path of seeing nothing). Poulnabrone so much smaller in real than on the picture!! Still a nice mythical visit. The Gann’s Pub -where we stopped for lunch- was not “fare prices”. You would think that when a company brings in a group of 40-50 clients, they’d do special “group” pricing. Think about negotiating that, GTC !! Lots of nice view while driving. Cliffs of Moher are gorgeous, very impressive. Totally worth the tour. Didn’t see any puffins unfortunately, too far. If you can, bring binoculars with a far view (zoom). After the Atlantic edge walking on the “volcanic” stones, the drive back was smooth, love seeing the Irish country side, with cows, sheeps, horses and donkeys, with little typical cottages!

This is a great excision, albeit, an all day affair! The driver/tour guide was excellent, told so many stories and shared the history of the country and the area. I have a renewed sense of pride for Ireland (I am not Irish) who spent 800+ years under British rule and as recent as 1922, became independent. We lived this tour…
