What To Expect
Our guide and the community ambassador with meet you there and will give you the historical context of the Barrio Moravia, explain its origins in the 60's as an illegal neighborhood and explain one version of the "transformation of Medellin"
Visit La Resistencia de Moravia. Get to know the "other side of the transformation of Medellin" which is the version no one talks about and understand why hundreds of families have resisted for more than a decade the reallocation plan set by the government.

5.00This was one of the most humbling, eye opening tours I’ve ever been on. Seeing the extent of how far members of Comuna 4 had to go to build their community from scratch really makes one develop a further appreciation of all the things that go into a community, as well as the incredible people that go behind them. Toto was a fantastic tour guide, offering incredibly detailed translations for the community members stories and bringing so much life and humor in his interactions with the tour attendees and local community members we interacted with.

5.00I LOVED this tour. It was really special to walk around the community with Gloria, a local community leader, and to see how people in Medellin live. The guide Pablo was an insane wealth of knowledge about all things Colombia - healthcare, education, government and i learned so, so much. He also patiently answers every question, and I loved it so much that i ended up following him to his next tour that day which was also absolutely fascinating (more than escobar tour). This is a MUST DO if you are in Colombia. Thank you so much Pablo for putting together such a unique and educational tour. I left feeling inspired and in love with Colombia!!

5.00Excellent tour. Toto was an outstanding guide who was both passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Comuno 4. Meeting Gloria, a resident of Comuno 4 since the 1950’s and a community leader gave further first hand history of life past and present in the Comuno.
