This experience takes place at Casa di Alessio, a real Milan home, not a studio or a cooking school. You’re invited into a lived-in apartment where I host small groups (max 8 guests) for a relaxed, personal evening focused on sharing food, conversation, and time together.
There’s no formal teaching style or performance, it's just a genuine Italian home cooking experience. You can actively cook handmade ravioli and tiramisù from scratch, or simply enjoy watching, tasting, and being part of the moment.
The atmosphere is intentionally slow and social, more like being welcomed as a guest at a dinner table than attending a class. Everything happens in Cimiano, a quiet residential neighbourhood away from tourist areas, offering a more authentic side of Milan most visitors never see.
It’s not about learning techniques — it’s about living an evening the Italian way: around a table, with good food, wine, and conversation.
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Public transportation options are available nearby
Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Step into a real Milan home and cook a traditional Italian dinner from scratch. Enjoy handmade ravioli, tiramisù, wine, and a relaxed evening with a local host far from the tourist crowds. I’m Alessio, and a few evenings a week I host small groups (max 8 guests) in my apartment, Casa di Alessio, for a shared cooking and dining experience. This is not a class, just a genuine evening in a local home, with no pressure and no performance. We start with a welcome prosecco, then prepare tiramisù so it can rest properly. Next, we make fresh handmade ravioli with ricotta and spinach, served with butter and sage. You can cook, watch, or simply enjoy the moment and the drinks. Around 8:30 PM, we sit down and eat together with wine (also soft drinks are available), followed by tiramisù and coffee. The menu is fully vegetarian, with lactose-free options available on request. The experience lasts about 3 hours (6–9 PM, though good company has a way of stretching things), and takes place in a real, lived-in home with two friendly cats. Cimiano is a quiet residential neighbourhood, and Casa di Alessio is just 7 minutes from the metro and 20 from the city center. AC included.

We were a couple who booked on the day we were just us. Three pleasant hours. We were allowed to do everything from scratch and there was a very cozy atmosphere and one had a quiet and quiet evening in a private home, with good talk about Italy and their traditions. Allesio was a quiet and quiet and fun host. Where you felt comfortable.

There were six of us at Alessio's beautiful apartment in Milan for cooking and dining together, and we had an unforgettable evening. Even the reception with an aperitif, fresh focaccia, and very good sparkling wine was perfect. Alessio is a great host, warm, relaxed, and very passionate about it. The food was excellent, from the appetizer to the fresh pasta to the tiramisu. Everything was authentic and incredibly delicious. We were particularly impressed by the atmosphere, the hospitality, and the great vibe throughout the entire evening. We laughed a lot, learned something, and felt completely comfortable. Absolutely recommended for anyone seeking a special experience in Milan.

My friend and I joined Alessio at his home to make ravioli and tiramisu, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, he made us feel completely welcome with his friendly and fun personality. The experience felt authentic and relaxed, more like cooking with friends than taking a class. The ravioli were amazing and the tiramisu was absolutely delicious. We had such a great time cooking, chatting, and sharing the meal together. I’d definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a genuine and memorable taste of Italian culture!
