This class was so fun! We went as a family group of 8 and everyone raved about the experience. Andreas is an excellent teacher who not only showed us the steps, but provided the background stories that helped us connect with the cultural significance of what we were preparing. This was a great experience for us and I highly recommend it!

The class was fun and the food was delicious! The conversation with the chef and participants was engaging and interesting. Some of the stuff we learned from the class can be applied outside just the dishes we were taught to make as well!! Money and time well spent! :)

I went to this cooking class solo and had so much fun! Everyone at casa San Miguel was so kind and inviting. Included transportation was the cherry on top. If you’re thinking about it, do it. Thank you guys so much! One of my favorite memories from Antigua.

This was honestly one of the best experiences I had in Guatemala! Me and my friends had such a great time. The whole cooking class felt very authentic, fun, and wholesome from start to finish. We learned how to make a traditional Guatemalan dish pepian, and the chef was amazing — super friendly, very knowledgeable, and made everything easy to understand. You can tell he really loves what he does. The food was absolutely delicious, and making my own tortillas for the first time was such a fun experience. I also really appreciated that they offer free transportation for both pick up and drop off, which made everything so easy and stress-free. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Guatemala — definitely a must-do experience!

We were picked up in the plaza on schedule by our very friendly hosts . The cooking location was a short drive away by iglesia de San Gaspar. My husband and 10 year old and I all enjoyed the preparation and the final result! The chef and his team are bilingual and gave clear instructions and lots of cultural info along the way. It was an excellent way to spend an evening!
