Day hike in Kathmandu - Shivapuri hiking is one of the best hike in Kathmandu valley. It is one of the tallest hill; (2,732 m) in Kathmandu. The hill top offers admirable view of the Langtang Himalayas, wonderful nature, birds-eye view of Kathmandu valley and the surroundings hills.The hiking will be around 6-7 hours. During the hiking, explore the Budhanilkantha temple. Nagigumba, Pani Muhan, greenery fields, etc.

What To Expect
Drive to Budanilkantha and start your hiking. You will enter the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park (SNNP) after paying the entrance fee according to your nationality. In this national park, you will observe the various species of flora and fauna on the way. Hike up to the Shivapuri peak (2,732 m) which is the highest point of this destination. From this point you can enjoy the amazing mountain views including Ganesh himal (7,422 m), Langtang ranges, Gaurishankar (7,134 m) and more. Overall, the hiking takes around 7 hours to & fro. Return back the same place at Buddhanilkantha and your hiking ends. Drive back to Kathmandu and drop to your hotel
