What To Expect
We will view the White House from Lafayette Square on the North Side is a truly awe-inspiring experience. Visitors can observe an iconic building that has been home to many presidents over the centuries and witnessed many historic moments. The exterior of the White House is renowned for its grandiose columns, white paint, and towering windows. The surrounding grounds feature manicured lawns with picturesque flowerbeds, fountains and statues that add to the allure of this regal building. When looking towards the North side from Lafayette Square visitors will get a breathtaking sight with lush parklands full of trees and diverse wildlife that make this area unique.

The Hamilton Statue by American sculptor James Earl Frazier is an iconic monument located in Washington, D.C. The bronze statue was dedicated to Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury of the United States during President George Washington’s tenure. The statue shows Hamilton in a stately pose as he holds a book in his right hand and a scroll in his left. This beautiful piece of art pays tribute to Alexander Hamilton’s role as a symbol of freedom during the Revolutionary War era. It serves as an important reminder that America would not be where it is today without him.

5.00Barry was a FANTASTIC tour guide. We are a family of 4 (husband, 17-year-old twins, and me) and we wanted an evening tour so we could see the monuments at the golden hour and also see them lit up at night. Our 7:30pm start time was perfect! Barry timed everything so we got to see the monuments at their most beautiful. The historic information he shared was wonderful--great details with a good overview. We felt like we understood the highlights of each monument/memorial and were able to appreciate and understand the significance of each one. And then we could gauge which ones we wanted to come back to--or not! Side note: he is a great photographer! He took many photos of our family and even some fun ones at the Washington Monument. :) But what was most appreciated was his warm and sincere energy. We loved him! Our family agreed this tour was the highlight of our 3 day DC trip.

5.00We booked a scooter tour for family and friends; 4 adults and an 11-year-old. For the three hours we spent, we got to see an incredible number of the monuments and memorials around the mall, led by our knowledgeable guide, Barry. The tour included some time for us to get used to the scooters, explanations and facts for each of the different monuments, small gifts and opportunities for the child, and personalization of the things identified based on requests from the group. Two of our group were locals and said it was the best way they'd seen to experience as many of the monuments in a short time as possible. The 11-year-old would have easily done it for another 1-2 hours, he was so invested. Barry kept us all invested, was easy to understand and knowledgeable, and ensured we were all being taken care of.
I didn't hate myself after seeing all the sights!

5.00Amazing tour with Barry! Had a neurodivergent 11 year old with us, and he had such a great time. Between the little "gifts," photo ideas, and fun facts, we were not bored. Very interactive and fun to tour around with the scooters. Best (traditionally boring!) sightseeing tour ever!

5.00We had an awesome time with Barry on our scooter tour of the national mall. We are a family of six and before we started Barry took plenty of time to make sure everyone had the right scooter for them, including my 8 year old who was a bit nervous. During the tour we learned so much more about the memorials than we thought and we had a blast doing it. From the 14 year old to the 8 year old, the tour with Barry was everyone's favorite part of our trip to DC!

5.00This was the highlight of our trip and so worth it value-wise. Barry gave us the coolest information and created a great route based on our preferences and time restrictions. Seeing the monuments at night with very few people around us definitely the way to go! Renting your own scooters and trying to navigate on your own is definitely not worth it! Book with Barry and save yourself a ton of headache!

5.00Barry made sure everyone was comfortable and understood how to operate their scooters before we took off. He was extremely knowledgeable and curated a fun afternoon for both the adults and kids.
