What To Expect
DMZ
Meet a North Korean defector and hear her raw, firsthand escape story, where survival was never guaranteed. Then join a live Q&A to ask anything and get honest answers about life on the other side of the border. Before we go into DMZ area and do ID Check, will look through Mangbaedan Altar which is historical sites related to Korean War.
The Third Tunnel
■DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) The 3rd Invasion Tunnel. This is walking course into the tunnel. Take your step into the 3rd tunnel which is one of thrilling tunnel as close to 1.95 meters high, 2.1 meters wide and 1,635 meters long. It was thought to be more threatening as an invasion tool than the 1st and 2nd Tunnels.

Memorable DMZ Tour – Dora Observatory and 3rd Tunnel Were Highlights

5.00The experience of seeing North Korea was truly fascinating. From the observatory, we could spot North Korean villagers going about their daily lives—riding bicycles, walking around, and carrying on with their routines. It was a unique and memorable experience. Heather was an excellent guide and a wonderful storyteller. She shared many interesting stories and historical insights throughout the tour, which helped us better understand the history and significance of the DMZ. Unfortunately, a few attractions mentioned in the original itinerary were not covered, as the schedule was modified to include other stops such as a bridge. As a result, we missed visiting the Freedom Bridge and the steam locomotive at Jangdan Station in Imjinak Park. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. The Dora Observatory and the Third Infiltration Tunnel were definitely the highlights of the tour and made the trip worthwhile. A special thanks to Heather for being such a calm, knowledgeable, and friendly guide throughout the day.
