We are licensed (AOC/27/2023) and trained for a responsible Cetaceans observation activity. We follow local legislation & code of conduct to ensure that our activity has the least possible impact, preserving the well-being of dolphins and the integrity of the ecosystem. Wild dolphin can't be summoned or controlled in nature, but we have 98% success rate in sightings.

What To Expect
This tour combines 2 unforgettable experiences in 1: Looking for dolphins in their natural habitat and seeing the famous Benagil Cave and other rock formations along the Algarve Coast from Parchal, Lagoa to Benagil. The tour lasts up to 3 hours and the itinerary may vary depending on the location of the dolphins. Count on a family-friendly, good-humored and experienced team who will share their passion, information and interesting facts about the marine species and rock formations observed. The most commonly sighted cetacean species are the common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) and the bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus). Although this tour depends on Nature, it is a team effort with other companies equally accredited by the ICNF (Institute for Nature and Forest Conservation), thus maximizing the possibilities of sightings. We also saw several seabirds such as the Gannet (Morus bassanus), Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax aristotelis), among others. During the summer months, and if the sea and weather conditions are favorable, we stop in a bay for those who want to swim in the calm and crystal clear waters.

The most special moment was undoubtedly the sighting of dolphins in their natural habitat — exciting and unforgettable. The crew was extremely friendly, professional and attentive, always ensuring the safety and comfort of everyone. I highly recommend this tour to those who visit the region. A unique experience that I would repeat without hesitation!

5.00The Dolphins & Benagil Caves experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The hosts were amazing — so friendly, warm, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The knowledge they shared throughout the trip was fascinating and made the whole experience even more special. The trip itself was out of this world. I was honestly lost for words and completely blown away by the beauty and atmosphere. The hosts also found out it was my birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it special by singing and celebrating with me. I was truly touched by the love and kindness they showed. An unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend!

5.00Amazing!!!! Pedro, Ana, and Popcorn (Ana’s sweet little puppy) showed us minke whales and bottle nosed dolphins. Their enthusiasm, knowledge, and patience made this experience the highlight of our entire vacation. I would highly recommend them and if I ever return to the Algarve, I will definitely book a tour with them again.

5.00Absolutely amazing experience with Pedro and Anna! Passionate and very kind professionals. Pedro didn’t give up: he spent more than an hour and a half searching for dolphins until he found a large group, very close to our boat — a magical and unforgettable moment 🐬💙 Then we discovered all the caves of Benagil, with clear explanations, interesting and full of historical details. Mood was relaxed, kind and very friendly. 👉 I highly recommend this excursion: perfect organization, beautiful landscapes and team at the top! Our tour master exceeded all expectations to ensure that everyone got the most from the day. 5.00The trip took place in absolute safety, with all aspects regarding the same protected, and even comfort details, such as the possibility of using ponchos, included. Detailed, technical, accurate and engaging information. Extremely cheerful and pleasant Mood aboard, with two crew elements always available and friendly muuuuuito :) Water and toddlers served to the description and took us very far, where it was possible to watch the stunning show of about 400 dolphins in almost permanent interaction! Constant care in not disturbing the ecosystem, and we went to visit the caves, where the same availability, but always with great respect for the environment Mood remained. Unforgettable and magical tour!!! Grata, Pedro and Ana :)

5.00Super experience with a passionate couple who took all the time to please us. They went the extra mile and know where to look. Different from the more commercial mass tours. We have seen two species of dolphins.
