Dubrovnik
Explore the dazzling Dalmatian coast from and learn about the Dubrovnik Republic that was the symbol of prosperity and progress for a long period of time. It had one of the largest trade fleets on the Mediterranean Sea and, as such, was an unavoidable partner in the European commercial and political affairs of that time. This undefeated town, with a diplomatic web that many of today’s “modern“ states would be proud of, was the centre of one “small“ Republic which preserved its independence and existed for 450 years. Uncover the secrets of Dubrovnik’s past as you visit historic landmarks, such as the iconic Stradun, Rector’s Palace, and the Cathedral. Delve into the city’s maritime legacy at the Maritime Museum, or lose yourself in the labyrinthine alleys of the picturesque residential neighborhoods. You will discover a town revered as a UNESCO World Heritage site, encircled by majestic walls and fortresses that have commanded the region for countless centuries.
Walls of Ston
Ston deserves a visit for its impressive medieval defensive walls, often referred to as the “European Wall of China,” and its centuries-old salt pans that operate to this day.

Mladen was an excellent courier! He provided lots of useful information about our day in Dubrovnik. The trip was well organised and all ran to time. We really enjoyed our time in Dubrovnik. We also enjoyed our visit to the local winery which was educational and the wine was excellent! We would recommend the trip to others!

This was a fabulous full day out tour. Beginning in Ston an unstated, quaint little town. Then on to Dubrovnik, with plenty of time and options for tours, walks, shopping or lunch. Then finishing off with wine tasting. Amazing tour guide and great price. Thanks aswell to the bus driver.

The guide for our visit to Dubrovnik was excellent, giving us enough information for us to enjoy our time exploring Dubrovnik, but not overloading you with pointless drivel. Dubrovnik was a great experience, with lots of history, the city walls very like the citadel in Korcula, but on a much grander scale. En route we stopped in the town of Ston, with its impressive wall and great pastries and on our return we visited a winery. The winery took you on a trip back through history on how things were done many years ago. This included how the people lived to how the wine was made, very interesting. We also had a tasting session of the local red and white wines.

This trip is very much recommended. I went on the wine tour to Dubrovnik with my sister and we started the day at 7.30 am. We got picked up at our hotel by first a transporter - then boat - then bus, which was very convenient and punctual. Ston was the first stop, a lovely little city with a few shops and also known as the salt city (just make sure to bring cash and hurry up - the stop is quite short but definitely sufficient). After about two hours by bus we arrived in Dubrovnik. Our guide Hanifa told us interesting facts and figures along the way. She was very open, fun and entertaining and brought us downtown where she let us go free for about 5 hours in Dubrovnik. Duborvnik is a beautiful city, we went end of summer, which is a very good time to go tourist-wise. It’s very doable in those five hours or it was for us and our plans anyways. We did the old town, Main Street Stradun, the cathedrals and monasteries, the Game of thrones spots like Jesuit stairs and Fort Lovrijenac. We also did the cable car which was honestly a highlight, very worth it and a beautiful view over the entire city and the walls as well as the ‚Red Keep‘ (Game of thrones). On the way back we stopped at a winery and had a nice wine tasting. My sister and I enjoyed this wonderful day a lot - the „children“ of the tour 😄 Hanifa was very funny and always tried to make us laugh, keep us engaged or tell us something interesting - so if you want to see Dubrovnik, have a very uncomplicated transport and organization from surrounding islands plus a fun wine tasting we absolutely recommend this tour!!

Fabulous trip with this company - guide and driver were great. Picked up promptly, comfortable transport, informative throughout and made sure we were able to board the ferry even though it was full for transport - making alternative arrangements for our onward travel. Guide was inclusive with the group and offered helpful advice and tips when in both Ston and Dubrovnik. Thank you for a great day. Would highly recommend this trip.

Fabulous tour guide, very informative, warm, helpful & funny. We were delayed on way back by a car accident but she kept our spirits up & quickly organised alternative transport for those who would otherwise have a very long delay in catching the ferry to Korcula. We loved Dubrovnik, Ston & wine tasting!
