Two of Amsterdam's best experiences combined! Start with a small-group walking food tour through the Jordaan neighborhood. You'll hidden spots like a cheese maker with decades behind the counter, a bakery producing something the Dutch have been arguing about for centuries, a jenever bar that's been pouring since before your grandparents were born.

Then comes the exclusive canal cruise. Not a shared tourist boat. A private luxury saloon boat, just your group, max 11 guests, tracing the Prinsengracht, the Amstel, and the Herengracht for a full hour. You'll have a Bitterballen tasting on board, along a jenever drink, plus beer, wine, or soda.

This activity requires a minimum of 4 guests. Should this not be met, we will contact you directly to help you get rescheduled or reimbursed.

Children under 4 years old do not need a ticket and can join the tour for free. However, food is not included. Paid tickets with food included are available for ages 4 and up.

Please make sure to arrive 15 minutes early so the tour can start on time. The boat must depart promptly, and unfortunately, if you miss it, you won’t be able to join the tour. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Great way to see Amsterdam. It was great to sample Dutch cheese, fish, bitterbals and apple pie. The day was capped off with a canal tour with some tasty Dutch liqueur. Alda is a fantastic hostess, educating us and making sure everyone was taken care of.

Alda is a fantastic guide! We had an amazing walking & canal boating tour trying a wide range of Amsterdam specialties from classic apple strudel to newer tastes such as Moroccan spiced pies! Highly recommend.

Sabrina is very knowledgeable about Amsterdam and its culture, especially the food culture- and is very entertaining. The tour and the selections allowed us to check a lot of the must try dishes off the list (herring, apple tart, Surinamese, and more) while getting a quick orientation to the area. Sabrina was attentive to the tour group and each person’s needs. Seasoned travelers and first time visitors learned and had fun simultaneously.

Very tasty food throughout. Small group so able to spend more time talking with Sabrina. Favorite dishes poffertjes, Moroccan vegetarian food. Surprised that I ate the herring willingly.

The tour was amazing! Gerard was a fantastic guide and it was awesome to experience traditional foods of Amsterdam. We will be finding some of the recipes to make when we get back to the States!
