Tour duration is 9 hours and 15 minutes. This time includes the driving from Te Anau to Milford with lots of scenic stops along the way; the Milford Sound Cruise and the drive back to Te Anau.

What To Expect
Eglinton Valley
Carved out by glaciers thousands of years ago. Today, steep rocky mountains covered in native beech forest line the valley. The flat floor of the valley is covered in eye-catching golden tussock grass.
Mirror Lakes Walk
Small tarns on the roadside providing outstanding refelctive views of Earl Mountains.

5.00Absolutely mazing experience. And this is for many reasons. The boat trip was exceptional with amazing views and spectacular waterfalls. We had a reserved table by the window which was a nice touch. The stops on the way were perfectly thought out. But the absolutely best part was our guide, Russell. He elevated the trip to a whole different level and made the experience 10 times better. His love and knowledge of geology and nature are so contagious. We absolutely loved the trip and could not recommend it more. Thank you so much Russell!

5.00We had an amazing time with our guide Russell! He was a wealth of knowledge and his jokes were perfectly placed within everything he shared. He showed us some sites off the beaten path which was an added bonus! The cruise itself was incredible! It was a long day and an epic day! 10/10 recommend!

5.00This tour was the highlight of our trip to the South Island. Simon was the perfect tour guide. He had extensive knowledge and we could have talked to him all day long. Our day trip from Te Anau to Milford Sound went smoothly thanks to Simon's relaxed nature, and nothing was too much trouble. Our cruise was on a much smaller boat with fewer passengers which was perfect for us. It was excellent value for money. We would thoroughly recommend this tour company.

5.00Although the weather wasn't good we still had an excellent time. Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting. I am glad we picked a small group experience as I feel we got more out of the day than other larger trips. As the weather was awful our guide got us on the earlier boat

5.00Wonderful day with our personal guide, Kevin! He was so friendly and informative and gave us the opportunity of having numerous stops to see amazing sights. The Milford Sound cruise on the Milford Haven boat was just breathtaking, very comfortable and time was just right. Would definitely recommend this experience.
