After spending 12 incredible days trekking from Lukla to Everest Base Camp, I can honestly say that this journey would not have been the same without my guide, Vishma, and my porter, Bepim. From the very first day, Vishma felt more like a friend than just a guide. He was always looking out for me, making sure I was acclimatizing properly, feeling well, and enjoying every part of the experience. Trekking to Everest Base Camp is physically demanding, but his calm confidence, knowledge, encouragement, and sense of humor made even the toughest days manageable. He shared so much about the mountains, local culture, and the people of the Khumbu region that I felt I gained a much deeper appreciation for Nepal than I ever could have on my own. I also cannot say enough good things about Bepim. Every day he carried our gear through steep climbs, rocky trails, and high-altitude conditions that challenged all of us, yet he always greeted us with a smile. His kindness, positivity, and incredible work ethic never went unnoticed. Watching him tackle the trail day after day with such determination was genuinely inspiring. What started as a trekking trip became so much more because of these two men. By the end of the journey, I felt like I was saying goodbye to friends rather than members of a trekking team. Standing at Everest Base Camp was an unforgettable moment, but many of my favorite memories are the conversations, laughs, and shared experiences along the trail with Vishma and Bepim. Thank you both for helping make a lifelong dream come true. Your professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made this one of the most meaningful adventures of my life. I will always remember this trek, and a big reason for that is because of you. I would recommend Nepal Hiking Team without hesitation, and if you're lucky enough to have Vishma as your guide and Bepim as your porter, you're in excellent hands. Thank you again to guide Vishma, porter Bepim and owner Ganga for a truly amazing experience, I would highly recommend!

We had an amazing time on our trek! We went to EBC via Gokyo Lake and the Chola Pass. Our guide Anis was great. He took such good care of us and did a great job leading the trip. He made the hard days a lot easier and was very supportive and communicative. Anis actually saved our trip and made sure we started on time with getting us on the last flight of the day to Lukla after delays. The views were breathtaking and well worth every step. I highly recommend doing this trek and just not going straight to Basecamp. We saw amazing lakes, mountains, creeks, forests, snow and ridges. The planning is as very easy and we were well taken care of by Anis and the team. Will be using them in the future for other treks and adventures. Thank you Anis and the team.

We completed the 9-day trek to Everest Base Camp with Nepal Hiking Team, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful, answering all of our questions before we arrived in Kathmandu. Our lead guide, Arjun, and assistant guide, Ganesh, were the true stars of the journey. They cared for us like family and ensured every detail was taken care of throughout the trek. Arjun was attentive, resourceful, creative, and incredibly patient, always adapting to the needs and circumstances of the group. One thoughtful touch that stood out was Arjun pairing each trekker with a porter for the challenging stretch from Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp. It made a significant difference and was greatly appreciated. He also kept everyone's spirits high with his sense of humor and witty jokes, making the trek even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Nepal Hiking Team, especially Arjun and Ganesh, for anyone planning the Everest Base Camp trek.

Fantastic hiking with Nepal hiking team everything sorted out and all questions answered promptly by Ganga loads of advice lovely hotel in Kathmandu before and after the trek. On the trek itself we were looked after by our guild's Indra and binod and our hard working shepers Birtaman and Thile. Indra was very hard working and informative of the routes and mountains we encountered also sorting the best Teahouses and best rooms available would definitely use him again on our next trip to The Himalayas next year if he's available but he's probably in big demand. Teahouses were better than expected but some people in other groups struggled with expectations food all great except the last hotel in Lukla and a gas leak on our corridor was an issue the owners of the hotel dismissed as not a risk so we took charge and turned off the valves, our group and one from Sydney put in a complaint on return to Kathmandu and Ganga said he'd have a Word or change accommodation in Lukla for future trips . Overall a great experience with some lovely new friends we will keep in touch with from across the Globe 🌎 😀

I completed the EBC trek with Nepal Hiking Team (NHT) during late April and early May 2026, and it was an outstanding experience. My sincere thanks go to my guide, Raj Kumar Gurung, porter Appu, and Arjun with his group who accompanied us on the journey in. They took excellent care of us throughout the trek, prepared us well for each day, and shared their knowledge of the mountains, local culture, and trail conditions. They were always friendly, respectful, and patient in communicating with us in a language that is not their first. Raj Kumar ji's knowledge of the Khumbu region was exceptional. Every day, he could identify the peaks we encountered and explain their significance and elevations. One moment that stood out was at Dzongla, after fresh snow had blanketed the lodge and surrounding terrain. Raj Kumar knew exactly where the trail lay beneath the snow and guided me safely down the slope. His deep knowledge of the mountains, trails, teahouses, local Buddhist culture, and trail safety made the journey both safe and deeply meaningful. I also appreciated how NHT supports its porters by providing proper trekking gear and limiting the loads they carry. Ganga ji at the main office was incredibly helpful and patiently answered my many questions over several months of planning. This turned out to be one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken and an experience I will cherish for years to come. If you are considering trekking in Nepal, I highly recommend Nepal Hiking Team.

I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Napal Hiking Team and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our guide, Bishal Gurung, was outstanding throughout the entire journey. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the mountains, local culture, and the trekking route, and he always made sure we were well-informed and prepared for each day. What set him apart was his personality. He was friendly, easy to get along with, and had a great sense of humor. We shared plenty of laughs along the way, which made the long and challenging hiking days much more enjoyable and helped keep morale high. Bishal, together with the rest of the gang - Lakshman (Chingu!! :)) and Uncle Ramesh (international Uncle!) took excellent care of us from start to finish. They constantly checked on how we were feeling, ensured our needs were met, and made safety a top priority. Trekking at high altitude can be demanding, but I always felt safe, supported, and well looked after. The entire team worked incredibly hard to make the experience smooth and memorable, and their professionalism was evident every day. Reaching Everest Base Camp was an unforgettable achievement, and a big part of that was thanks to the dedication of the team. I would highly recommend Nepal Hiking Team and Bishal to anyone considering a trek in Nepal. They exceeded my expectations in every way and helped create memories that will last a lifetime.

My friends and I had a fantastic experience trekking on the Himalayas. We booked everything directly with Nepal Hiking Team and the experience was nothing but great. They were highly organized and everything was taken care off. We didn't have to worry about anything and everything was sorted and well prepared including all the airport transfers from Kathmandu. The most outstanding part was the trek itself. Our guide Bishal, and our porters Ramesh and Laxman, were very knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and took care of us every step to reach the Everest Base Camp. Bishal is also an entertainer/singer, photographer and videographer making our trip fun and memorable. He gave us recommendations on food, clothes to wear each day, how to improve our steps cimbing up/down and check our fitness/oxygen level and how we feel regularly ensuring we enjoyed our journey safely. He also answered our questions giving us comfort along the way. The trail, the nature, and the mountains are unique and magnificent (also challenging at times!). The Himalyan community was also very welcoming from tea houses to every people we met along the route. Would definitely recommend Bishal as a guide, and Nepal Hiking team to anyone looking to do a trip in the Himalayas.
