There was great excitement about this tour. My husband and daughter had been previously, with a scout group and she absolutely loved it and couldn’t wait for us to visit, it didn’t disappoint. Our tour guide Raymond was just wonderful, his passion for history very evident, we really enjoyed our time with him. Great interaction with the group and our youngest Harry. Thanks again, the Maguires from Belfast/Dublin and Limerick ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

From start to finish, the tour was well organised. Upon arrival, a comprehensive health and safety briefing was given. Having a shuttle bus up to the fort was thoughtful for those with infants or those with mobility difficulties. The signage throughout was sufficient to permit a self-guided tour, which we did before and after the guided tour. Our expert guide, Euan, was extraordinary in his capacity to give a comprehensive history of the island in an interesting and entertaining manner. His input made us appreciate fully what we were seeing. The cafe and toilet facilities were more than adequate. Highly recommend the experience.

Bought a last minute ticket while hanging out in Cobh. It was a great choice. Incredible history captured in the museum. It is clearly still being developed but it is already an excellent exhibition. The guide on my tour, Peter, was fabulous & extremely knowledgeable, both about the history of the island as well as Irish history in general. Only downside was I didn’t quite get to everything in the time before the return ferry.
