The tours usually end at 16:30, but we are flexible with the schedule. A good solution for travelers who wish to return to Pico at the end of the tour.
For reservations without lunch included, the tour provides for an approximately 1 hour stop at a local restaurant, where a buffet with traditional Azorean dishes is offered. The lunch is optional, with a fairly affordable cost between 12,50€ and 13,50€ per person, including soup, fish and meat dishes, salads and bread. Drinks, dessert and coffee have a separate cost. Participants who choose not to have lunch should wait during this period. However, if the whole group prefers not to make the stop for lunch, the tour will continue uninterrupted and may end about 1 hour earlier.
In the summer, there is the possibility of taking a dive at Almoxarife Beach! Don't forget to bring bathing suit and a towel. There's a place to swap on the beach. There is only one rule: you have to be dry before you go back to the cart.
If you travel with luggage, you don’t have to worry, the trolley has plenty of space to accommodate everything with comfort, so you can enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Monte Da Guia Walking Trail
Monte da Guia is a volcanic cone with two semicircular craters. From this place you will have a privileged view to the beach of Porto Pim and to the city of Horta.

Faial volcanoes and landscapes full day tour

5.00Excellent full day tour of all the volcanic scenic viewpoints on Faial. Ramiro was a great tour guide and explained everything with lots is energy and enthusiasm. Epic views of the Caldeira Cabeço Gordo in the centre of the island, a 2,000m wide crater that is so big it’s difficult to take it all in. Then we had time to hike around the otherworldly landscape of the Capelhinos volcano, a couple of square kilometres of land that were added by a volcanic eruption just 68 years ago - it was mesmerising to look at. Good lunch at a locals’ restaurant was included. Overall a great day out!

5.00This is a full-island tour stopping at many beautiful, historic, and scenic locations. The tour guide, Ramindo, is a knowledgeable and friendly local, and you couldn’t find a better guide. He answered questions and offered keen insight into the history of Faial and its people. The lunch stop was at a local spot with a variety of authentic Azorean food. Don’t miss this tour!

5.00Our guide Ramiro was fantastic. We were able to visit all the major sites and had a great day. Ramiro was very knowledgeable regarding the history of the island and information on the volcanic eruptions. He was very communicative and personable. He was waiting for us when we arrived via ferry and spoke perfect English. At the end of the day he helped us drop off our baggage at the ferry station and then since we have a few hours he took us back to a bar he recommended so we could have some grilled limpets and some of their famous gin. I highly recommend this tour if you only have a day to spend in Faial, but I would also recommend spending a few days on the island to really experience the natural beauty.

5.00We had a great day with Ramiro. He handled our group of 8 quite nicely in his van. We had less than ideal weather but Ramiro called some audibles, adjusted our stops, holding the view usually offered at the start of the tour to the end after some of the weather had turned. Most importantly, he graciously accommodated our desire to see where the ferry departed, and stopped at a local bakery to grab sandwiches for lunch. You will enjoy your day with him.

5.00The Ramiro is an excellent guide, it was fantastic with a lot of useful information about the island of Faial throughout the whole journey noted if perfectly that he loves to live there by the enthusiasm as it passed on to us all the historical and cultural aspects of the island.We love to go to the area of the Capelinhos very thank you Ramiro for the sympathy for everything and I will always recommend the Ramiro as the guide of the trails well there was a great pleasure to know him and that you have a lot of success in your walk because excellent professional ecum until one day Antonio Silva and Regina Silva
