This approximately 8-hour private tour takes you along Iceland's most popular excursion route.
You'll experience waterfalls, hot springs and geysers, marvel at large fissures created by continental drift, see the effects of earthquakes and taste delicious Icelandic ice cream.
The tour is led by a German-speaking, experienced local guide who will provide you with expert information about the sights, but also a lot of information about the country and its people.

What To Expect
Hveragerdi
In the greenhouse town of Hveragerði there will be a stop at the local shopping center. There you can see a fissure that was created in 2008 during a magnitude 6.2 earthquake. A video clearly shows the effects of the earthquake. You can experience what the earthquake felt like in an earthquake simulator (chargeable).
Kerid Crater
The Kerið crater is a 55m deep crater that was formed during a volcanic eruption around 6,500 years ago.

5.00Our guide Andy was simply excellent—a professional tour guide with perfect German, who told us very interesting details about the country and its people. We had a well-maintained Mercedes V-Class for four, which also offered plenty of space for our travel luggage. We learned more about Iceland on this 10-hour tour than on our previous 7-day cruise!! THANK YOU ANDY‼️‼️🫶 Anytime again….. 100% recommendation

5.00It was a perfect day. The car was great, the weather was somewhat mixed, but that was already known😉 when traveling to Iceland. We were picked up on time, Chef Sven drove himself... it was a perfect tour for four. I can only recommend it further. He had a lot of knowledge, could explain a lot, and questions were answered.
It doesn't get any better than this. A truly fascinating tour. 1********

5.00A super organized tour. Our guide Sven told us all the important details about the Golden Circle, as well as about the land and its people. We saw everything from the waterfall to the geyser to the crater, alongside beautiful landscapes. Restroom breaks were sufficient. The tour is also designed for less athletic individuals. Being in a small group was more pleasant than being in a large bus. Many thanks from Petra and Michael.

5.00We had a really nice day on the Golden Circle. The small group tour was very pleasant, with no feeling of mass tourism at all. We made many great stops and had enough time everywhere to look around and take photos. Our guide Sven was also very friendly and shared a lot of stories. All in all, very satisfied! Come and stay.

5.00We were in Reykjavik by cruise ship and had booked a Golden Circle private tour. Sven, boss and guide, provided us with a lot of information about Iceland during the trip to the individual hotspots. He has an enormous knowledge of his adopted country. There was an answer to every question. Requests were individually addressed and the tour was constantly adapted. Sven, thank you for the wonderful day.

5.00The tour was excellently planned, all important destinations were approached. The explanations on the bus were understandable, very interesting and gave a diverse insight into life and country. Many historical, geological, and societal topics were covered. A great day that also made the rainy weather forget.
