  This ranks as one of my very best travel experiences. Every penny spent, and every minute it took to get there was absolutely worth it. Our guide, Erik, was funny and engaging, and knew exactly how to make the experience fun. He shared little tips and tricks throughout the day that helped us get the most out of the tour. I also have to give credit to the tour company. I accidentally booked the wrong date, but they were incredibly flexible and accommodated the change without any hassle, allowing us to enjoy the experience. Giethoorn was simply stunning. A trip to Amsterdam/ Netherlands isn’t complete without visiting this beautiful village. I initially thought the extra hour after the boat ride would be unnecessary but i couldn’t have been more wrong. If anything, we could have used even more time to wander, explore, and soak it all in. I absolutely recommend

  I recently took the Giethoorn, Afsluitdijk, and Zaanse Schans Day Tour (with hotel pickup) from Klook and it was hands-down one of the best experiences I have had! From the moment we were picked up directly from our hotel, the day was seamless, perfectly paced, and incredibly fun. The itinerary itself is fantastic—offering a wonderful mix of quintessential Dutch history at the Zaanse Schans windmills, the engineering marvel of the Afsluitdijk, and the fairytale, serene canals of Giethoorn. What truly made this day unforgettable, however, was our amazing tour guide, Leidse. Leidse was: *Incredibly Informative: Brimming with deep historical knowledge, local insights, and fascinating stories about the geography and culture of the Netherlands. *Deeply Engaging: Leidse has a natural ability to connect with everyone on the tour, keeping us captivated from start to finish without ever feeling overwhelmed by facts. *So Much Fun! The energy, warmth, and great sense of humor brought to the entire journey made the day feel like a road trip with a knowledgeable local friend. If you are looking for a stress-free, deeply enriching, and highly entertaining way to explore these iconic Dutch locations, look no further.   We had a fantastic experience with Simon as our tour guide. He was the perfect combination of funny, informative, and accommodating, making the entire tour both enjoyable and engaging. Simon shared a wealth of knowledge throughout the day and was always happy to answer questions, while his great sense of humour kept everyone entertained. He went out of his way to ensure our group was comfortable and that everyone got the most out of the experience. All four people in our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour and agreed that Simon played a huge part in making it such a memorable experience. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and personable guide.

  This is a great tour. Eric is fantastic. He was on time for our hotel pick up and picked everyone else up in an efficient manner. He had great knowledge of the areas and the history. He also has a great sense of humor and a lot of great recommendations Zanse Schans was nice with seeing the old windmills, the cheese making talk and tasting, And the clog making demonstration. It was also good to be in the village before it gets overrun by tourist. Eric had a lot of information on the dikes , lakes and reclaimed land . Are final stop was Giethoorn the northern Venice. We had a nice lunch then Eric took us on a boat ride through the beautiful little village and out on to the lake. The house water ways were peaceful and beautiful. This made a time away from the city. This was a great day that flew by in a good way
