The adventure includes an exciting safari through the stunning Gudiolchay Gorge in iconic Soviet-era off-road vehicles, leading to the village of Khinalug. Along the way, you might spot majestic eagles soaring in the skies, wild horses racing along the rocky riverbanks, and clouds so low they seem close enough to touch.

What To Expect
Masazirgol
Pink Lake (Masazir) — the most unique lake in Azerbaijan, renowned for its unusual hue. There are only eight pink lakes in the world, and one of them is right here in Azerbaijan. Note: During the winter period (from December 1 to March 31), visits to the Pink Lake Masazyr are temporarily suspended, as due to natural conditions the lake loses its characteristic pink shade. This allows more time to be spent at other key locations of the itinerary, including the Shahdag Mountain Resort, which makes the tour even more rich and comfortable. Not visited from December 1 to April 30, as the lake loses its color during this period.
Besh Barmag Mountain
Driving along the M1 motorway connecting the capital of Azerbaijan with the largest cities of Russia, you will see the mountain Beshbarmak, located near the coast of the Caspian Sea. Beshbarmak is a place of pilgrimage for the local population and thanks to its height and shape has been an excellent reference point for sailors since ancient times. The holy place “Pir Hydyr Zundzha” is located at the foot of the Beshbarmag Mountain, where the travelers stop to perform prayers and worship. Your professional guide will tell you the mythical stories associated with this place.

5.00We went on the Khyzy-Shahdag tour. We really enjoyed it! Throughout the trip our guide Raphael talked interestingly about the places we visited, as well as the history of Azerbaijan. The Gechresh forest was super, really fresh. I can't help but mention nature, the mountains are fascinating. The tour is super, we advise!

5.00We had only one day, chose a trip to Guba and Khinalyg as the most picturesque, wanted mountains and landscapes. You didn't! The views are really amazing! The trip was not exhausting, thanks also to the wonderful guide Nazir! Good reporting, stopping/moving at a calm pace, without fuss, but with clear and sensitive guidance.

5.00This was the third trip that we have done with Nazir as our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Guba and Khinalig with spectacular scenery. The driver was extremely skilled at all the hairpin bends on the mountain passes.
