What To Expect
Dvorak Expeditions
This is the Main base for Dvorak Expeditions. Any and all rafting trips will meet at this location. If you are renting equipment, pick up from this main base is the same.

1:30 pm Half-Day Trip
This half-day trip is class II rapids and departs at 1:00 pm. Fully guided: Mild Class II Duration: 3 hours
9:30am Half-Day Trip
This half-day trip is class II rapids and departs at 9:00am.

Our guide JB had great info about the history of the river, the natural environment and good jokes to keep us on our toes! We loved that it was an independent operator and would recommend this company to all!

5.00Great trip! We were first-time rafters so really had no idea what to expect. Our 15-year-old was very hesitant and this tour was the only one we could get him to agree to. Matt was our guide, and he was excellent! He was full of information about how water behaves on these rivers and answered all the questions our 11-year-old kept asking. :-) Our only negative was when we tried to "surf the hole" and it felt like we were going to flip! Matt said we were never close to flipping though. We just got stuck and had trouble getting out because Matt and my husband were the only real muscle onboard. We'd totally do it again and I highly recommend Devorak!

5.0015 years ago I used Dvorak for a family all day rafting expedition and had a blast! We just came back from a larger family vacation (including grandkids) and used them again. It was an even better experience this time! One of our guides was the man himself, Bill Dvorak. His love of the river and of nature came through during the trip and it was amazing hearing his stories. He was also great with our 6 and 7 year old grandkids. Grace was the guide for the other boat and you can tell she's learning from the best. I won't wait another 15 years to go back. Thank you !

5.00Our guide Jason was so informative he was amazing and if we come back or when we come back we will be requesting Jason for sure he handled himself very professionally although we did fall Lynn no fault of anyone’s those things happen that was a little terrifying but I knew I would be OK we knew we would be OK so we will definitely be back I love rafting. There is a matter of a mixup with the cost and I will be calling someone today to try to get that squared away we we’re Wayover charged but other than that and that’s not a problem because I’m sure will get that fixed.

5.00I requested an easy rafting trip because I had guests from the Midwest who were hesitant to go. Bill took us and it was exactly what we wanted. Everyone was great to work with and we had such a great time. Now I want to go back for a bigger adventure!

5.00This section of river was perfect for a family with younger children. Our guide, Jonathan, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. My kids all said that rafting was the highlight of our weeklong trip to Colorado. Would definitely go again. We all had a blast.

5.00We took a short rafting trip this summer with Dvorak's and would highly recommend them! The guides were pros, the process super easy, and the office staff was awesome. Water is at a 10-year high there, which almost stopped us from booking due to my 8-year-old's hesitation on the whole thing. Rey, our fantastic guide, got her involved right away - helping to pick out gear, pump up the rafts - to help ease her mind. He was AMAZING with her. She still quotes Rey like he's a superhero or something :) He also helped my older daughter get her thrill-seeking accomplished by telling her where to sit and making sure she got hit with the perfect amounts of waves! Jack was the other guide and he was great too. In-laws did Brown's Canyon earlier in the week and raved about Dvorak for that as well. Definitely check them out!
