What To Expect
Be ready for pickup at 10.00 am at your Salzburg hotel. Make yourself comfortable in your comfortable touring vehicle and experience the beautiful landscape that the famous ‘Salzkammergut’ lake region has to offer. After a short drive from Salzburg you’ll reach the castle of Fuschl. Capture a picture of the castle of Fuschl with the emerald-green Lake Fuschlsee as its backdrop, before heading on to St. Gilgen with Lake Wolfgang, the next photo stop.

The next highlight is Wolfgang Lake and the villages St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang. Capture a picture of St. Wolfgang from a great view point before arriving at the next town, in Bad Ischl. The drive will take you through Bad Ischl, which is famous for the “Kaiser” (Emperor) Villa and the Café Zauner, and on to Bad Goisern and Hallstatt.

5.00This tour is a family run business. Patrick was engaging in conversation, knowledgeable about the Austrian region, and very polite. Patrick arrived in a clean BMW with a clear ceiling view. Such a smooth ride that it lulled us to sleep at times. Patrick dropped us off at the Hallstatt top deck but first guided us to the church and explained the area so it was easy to navigate. We also stopped at scenic lakes to take memorable pic. If your looking for a stress free enjoyable tour this is your ticket.

5.00Lena was the best tour guide! She picked us up at our hotel in Salzburg right on time in a beautiful Mercedes Van! Sue drove us to Hallstatt and stopped at a few small beautiful towns on the way! We were travelling with our 3 adult children! This was the best way to see the country side of the Salzburg area! Highly recommended! Thank you Lena for making our family trip special!

5.00Absolutely breathtaking scenery in the peace and comfort of your own vehicle. Lena was terrific! Such a delight. And very knowledgeable. There are lots of ways to get to Hallstat but this is clearly the best. And on the way to and from. we saw many beautiful sights off the beaten path which buses and trains can’t visit.

5.00Patrick was an excellent tour guide who took us to many great sights along our route to Hallstatt. He told us about all of the beautiful spots for photos and provided very interesting historical facts about Austria and the local region. After an introduction to Hallstatt, we were able to explore and enjoy on our own for about an hour and a half before taking the ferry back to meet up with Patrick. We had a wonderful time and would recommend to all!
