We will start this wonderful tour by going for you to the lobby of your hotel. Prepare your camera, the desire to have a good time, and join this tour like no other.
We will take you to the land of the Hobbits! Enjoy this magical place that will make you feel as if you are in another world. The hobbit houses, their movie-inspired attractions, and the giant statue representing a giant who takes care of the forest are attractions that you will love. 5.00The tour was good. Bring a jacket and it’s a lot of walking. Rueben was a good tour guide and was on time. The commute from Guatemala City was about an hour or little over away. Antigua is a beautiful city and the views on the tour were great. We’d recommend.

3.00First off, I usually give nice reviews. This in particular is half and half. Let's talk about Reuben (tour guide) and Carlos (driver). There were only 4 women on this tour so I assumed it should be a nice tour. I always book with Viator and by default; I always ask to sit in the front passenger due to my motion sickness. (I always take my medicine, too.) I guess they didn't read it and I asked you sit. Rueben was nice to say go ahead but Carlos speaking in Spanish mumbled something like who's going to keep him up to talk or he'll fall asleep on the wheel. My friend is Mexican and she understood him. Then Carlos drove like he's racing. It's really scary and I was afraid he'll cause an accident. While on the tour; I asked Rueben if he can take our pictures using my phone BUT he keeps taking pictures of us using his own phone then he'll use my phone to take it for me. He said it's for the website. We never consented. We were barely at Hobbitenango for an hour (on Viator it says 3 hours); and he said let's go to Antigua. When we got to Antigua; he took us four to a cafe. (I don't even like the food.) He dropped us off there at 12:06pm and said he'll be back at 1:00. I felt rushed then hurried outside where he waited. I thought we're continuing the tour. Instead; he just explained a little bit for 5-10 minutes then said we're on our own and to meet back at the cafe at 3:00. We were so disappointed. Then we got back into the van but Rueben said to sit in the back because Carlos needed to talk to him. I felt sick the whole 2 hours ride back and yes Carlos drove like he's racing. He must needed to go to a party. I am not happy with this tour and will not recommend to my friends. Reuben is a nice man but the tour was not great at all.

5.00Guide Reuben and driver Carols was excellent combination. Carlos very punctual and professional. Ruben very polite and informed. Not only did we have a good day, we also learned about the history and culture of Guatemala. Unforgettable experience

5.00Excellent service. 100% recommended! Ruben excellent guide, his drivers Carlos and Enrique were super helpful. They usually send the logistics of the tour a day early late at night, but the punctuality and service is very good. Tour of Antigua+Hobitenango + Atitlan + 4 adults 1 child

5.00This tour was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Ruben, was incredibly knowledgeable and super accommodating from start to finish. He made everything feel easy, comfortable, and fun, and you can truly tell he loves what he does. Hobbitenango is such a beautiful place, and it completely lived up to the hype. The views are unreal and we got so many great pictures there. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to take your time exploring because every corner feels like a photo op. What made this experience even better was getting to explore Antigua with someone who really knows the area. Ruben shared so much history and local insight that we definitely wouldn’t have learned on our own, and it helped us appreciate the city on a whole different level. Overall, this tour was the perfect mix of sightseeing, culture, and fun. If you’re visiting Antigua, I HIGHLY recommend booking this!

5.00This was a great tour! Good, responsive communication from Pedro! Carlos and Ruben were awesome! Carlos was the driver and I felt safe along the ride. Ruben was the tour hike. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and assisted with pictures, and recommendations. The pictures at Hobbittenango are amazing. The historic city of Antigua is wonderful! Really enjoyed this tour!
