What To Expect
We meet the passengers at the meeting point with our instructors and the driver. We will then drive to the launch site, after we arrive we will have a briefing and explain the safe measures and how the activity will go on. Take off takes only a few easy running steps bevor you get together with your Pilot Airborne. At the end of the paragliding activity you will be able to check out the pictures taken by the instructors and if you wish so you will be able to purchase them.

1.00Do not recommend! I would strongly caution anyone from making paragliding reservations with Swiss Activities - paragliding. They were extremely unhelpful and the customer service was horrific. At 7:10am on Tuesday June 2nd, I reserved a same day flight for 8:15am that morning at the interlaken location. This was done in error and when I realized the mistake 30minutes after making the reservation, I contacted their customer service immediately and asked to reschedule for a later date or cancel. The response I received from Dave was extremely disappointing. “this is not possible. we organised all Team members for you we have a strict cancellation policie”. I find it hard to believe they “organized all team members” within 30 minutes and that their unwillingness to help resolve the issue was extremely poor customer service. The ticket was not cheap and missing out on the opportunity to paraglide for the first time over a simple error was very disappointing. I would highly recommend looking at alternate companies when considering paragliding in the area.

5.00This was an incredible experience from start to finish. We met our pick up van at outdoor interlaken across from the field where we land. This was a strait 5-10 min walk from Interlaken Ost. Our driver was prompt about 5 min early. We road up with our 5 pilots who were personable and professional. Once at our take off site overlooking Interlaken, about 20 min up the mountainside, we each randomly chose a pilot, set up and took off. We are a family of 5 with a small 12 year old, a 14 year old and a 6'1" 16 year old. What amazed me most was that after landing together in the field back where we were picked up, each of my family members described a flight perfectly tailored to what they wanted to do. The pilots held conversations during the flights taking interest in my kids' interests and made the flights personal and as much or little adventure as they wanted. That personal touch is hard to find, bit these guys had it! Thanks for making our family adventure so special!

4.00It was a very nice experience and that is also just fine and sufficient to experience that. We found this one time sufficient and in all likelihood there will not be a 2nd time. Too bad we found that there is nothing on the website about the costs if you would like photos. Compared to the other organizations that organize this and do mention it, in the ride up the price was only mentioned. They are certainly more expensive than what we learned later from the others. The pictures and the 2nd videos are certainly nice, yet we find relative to the price that you pay a lot for the number. The pilots are very friendly and listen to what you want to experience or not.

5.00It was fantastic experience- Richie the pilot/ instructor had 35 years of experience. A smooth take off, flying above the clouds and below the clouds. Photos and videos was taken by Richie as he managed the flight and a manoeuvre. I felt safe and relaxed despite this being my first flight.

5.00Definitely a 5! We opted for the later 4pm flight due to the warm thermal later in the day. But it wasn’t meant to be as a front with slight rain and thunder came through. Other groups were still launching but the Swiss Paragliding team shut it down for the night in an abundance of caution. We were disappointed but we’re ready to go the next day. Other groups were still launching in the iffy conditions but we were happy “to be on the ground, wishing we were flying” vs” in the air wishing we were on the ground”. These guys are pros. 5.00Overall a nice experience, but more expensive than other paragliding companies" I had a good time and felt safe throughout the flight. The staff were professional, friendly, and made sure I understood the process before takeoff. The location was beautiful, and the views during the flight were stunning. However, when comparing prices afterwards, I noticed that this company is more expensive than several other paragliding providers offering similar routes and flight durations. While the quality and service were good, I’m not sure the price fully reflects the difference in value compared to competitors. If you’re looking for a smooth, well-organized, and scenic paragliding experience and don’t mind paying a bit extra, this is a solid choice. But if price is an important factor for you, it might be worth comparing options first.
