John Carlo was awesome and very informative and easy to understand and took the time to explain and gave us time to explore.

Had a good time. Our guide John was very informative and funny. A lot of time spent in the different locations. There was a severe weather warning and some help with this matter would have been helpful from the organisers (not John).

Preston did such a great job telling us the historical facts surrounding the JFK assassination, as well as setting the scene- helping us to understand Dallas socially and politically on that day and thereafter.

Mixed feelings about this tour. I was really looking forward to it and of course the major sights are there for all to see. That part of it was great. I wasnt keen on our guide. I believe his name was Orlando. He came across as very sarcastic and was a little eager to give his opinions. That's not what we were there for. There wasnt too much of a coherent plan about where we'd be going and what we'd be doing for how long. In the van we got and just drove. This coupled with the point where he held a laptop up so we could hear a barely audible YouTube clip...it just all seemed a little haphazard. The rooming house was the highlight for us and obviously the plaza and grassy knoll but we could have done that ourselves to be honest. Possibly an off day going by other reviews and possibly guides but I wouldn't recommend.

We had some idea on the event that happen but after doing this tour with our guide John and his knowledge of this event and the timeline on how it took place before and after the shooting. The museum was great way to finish off the tour as we could place what we learn prior to viewing. Highly recommend

It was a valuable experience, covering locations that were hard to reach by themselves: Oswald's boarding house, the murder scene of police officer Tippett, and the Texas Theater.

Preston was incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to experience this tour with. I’m not easily impressed, but he is the real deal. As both a historian and a local, he brings the events, the people, and the stories to life with a depth of understanding that makes it feel as though he lived them himself.
