Our guide was Dipendra Dharel, a very polite, professional, and kind young man. He immersed us in Nepalese life and its rich history and culture. With great patience, he answered all the questions we asked him. He also shared fascinating details about the architecture of every temple we visited. It was an intense day that flew by, as we moved between the past and the present—we didn’t even notice how an entire day had passed! Absolutely a “must do” experience when visiting Kathmandu. And if you’re lucky enough to have a guide like ours, you’ll leave with unforgettable memories and a desire to come back and learn even more. Thank you, Dipendra Dharel!

We booked the group tour to 7 UNESCO sites - it was easily the highlight of our trip to Kathmandu. Covering all seven sites—Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, etc. —in a single day is a marathon, but our guide - Ashok, made it feel seamless. Ashok is incredibly knowledgeable, funny and pleasant - explaining from intricate Newari architecture to the deep spiritual significance of the cremation rituals at Pashupatinath. The van was air-conditioned and clean, which was a lifesaver given the Kathmandu traffic. If you are short on time and want to see the best of Nepal’s history, this is the tour to book. Highly recommend, especially with guide Ashok Silwal, author of the book 'Everest - an unfinished story'.

It was an amazing experience as a first timer to Kathmandu Nepal but I rated it a 3 because I don’t think some of the temples we visited were worth the amount we paid.

Amazing introduction to Kathmandu and Nepal. We did this tour the day after arriving. Our guide Dependra was extremely knowledgeable and easy going through out the whole tour, plenty of time to take photos and ask questions. Our driver Bakhat did an excellent job navigating the crazy streets of Kathmandu.

I did the 7 UNESCO sites tour yesterday, it went form 8 am until 7 pm, but well worth it. I arranged for fees to be paid in advanced with my credit card, which saved the hassle of taking out money every stop. What really made it special was our guide, Rajan Pudasainee. The places are impressive on their own, but Rajan brought a level of insight I honestly didn’t expect. He has a rare mix of knowledge — history, culture, philosophy — and delivers it in a way that feels easy and enjoyable, not like a script. He’s genuinely funny, quick to notice what people are interested in, and has this calm, positive attitude that makes the whole day smoother. I’ve done quite a few tours in different countries, and it reminded me again: the guide makes the experience. Rajan is the reason I’d recommend this company. If you’re thinking about doing this tour, ask for him. It makes a big difference. PS the Yogurt WAS very good
