What To Expect
Enjoy a special culinary experience by learning traditional recipes passed down through generations. Using high-quality ingredients sourced locally in Korea, you will prepare authentic Korean dishes such as bibimbap, bulgogi, and japchae, and enjoy a delicious meal accompanied by traditional Korean refreshments. * This is a small-group class with a maximum of 4 participants, allowing you to gain plenty of tips and insights into Korean cooking. * The class takes place in a clean and hygienic Korean home. * Please let us know your dietary preferences in advance, if any.

5.00I had the most wonderful experience cooking with Michelle and her mother! They are both incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. Even though I was their only guest that day, they made me feel truly welcome from the very first moment. The entire experience was thoughtfully and meticulously organized. I was personally picked up at the entrance of the train station and escorted to their lovely home. It was such a pleasure walking through the small streets and being welcomed into an authentic Korean home. All the ingredients were beautifully prepared and waiting for us on the cooking table, and we happily started chopping, mixing, and frying together. Everything was perfectly arranged — I was offered a lovely cold drink, received lots of interesting information, and we had so much fun comparing typical Korean and German food, traditions, and everyday habits. Michelle also did a wonderful job teaching me how to properly hold chopsticks, something I had still been struggling with. Together, we prepared Bibimbap, Bulgogi, and Japchae — and everything tasted absolutely delicious. At the end, I even received a pair of “learning chopsticks” and two yummy instant soups as a gift. Such a thoughtful and generous gesture — I truly appreciated their kindness. This cooking class was definitely one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Seoul! I can highly recommend cooking with them. It can also easily be combined with a walk to the N Seoul Tower, as their home is conveniently located right next to the walking path.

5.00I found this most wonderful tour on AGODA. We loved it, Michelle and her mother.J were just fabulous hostesses. Food was excellent. We actually learned a lot. Their home was quite inviting and comfortable. They were the nicest people we really enjoyed talking to them and eating our wonderful lunch. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone. It’s an excellent experience and it’s really nice to see a local home and enjoy their hospitality. Please book this Tour. It’s excellent.

5.00We had a wonderful time during this activity! Michelle & Jay were well prepared and exposed us to the art of making local cuisine. The dishes were delicious and it was so much food! Be sure to go hungry! It was a great experience!
