Miko our guide was extremely good. She was very knowledgeable, personable and brought to life the world of the Geisha. The area was so pretty and so much nicer to walk around at night as it was cooler and less people around. I would highly recommend Miko and this tour. Many thanks

What a wonderful tour! This kind of activity is so hard because you can't guarantee that you will see any Geisha. We were SO lucky that we got to see 2 Geisha!!! I learned a great deal about both Geisha and shrines. I'm truly grateful to our guideTakuma because he was so patient in answering all of my questions about both Geisha and Japan. He was constantly attentive to our needs and checked in with us regularly. If you want to spend an afternoon with a supportive local that can teach you so much I highly recommend Takuma on this tour!

Keiko was an outstanding guide for our Gion Walking Tour in Kyoto. She was punctual, attentive, knowledgeable, and funny, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. We learned so much about the history and traditions of the geisha district and were lucky enough to spot four maiko during the tour. The pace was perfect, and walking through the heart of Kyoto with Keiko's expert guidance was a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Had our tour today, we were the only family who turn’t up in our group so we had the luxury of a private guided tour. Our guide was so lovely he explained everything to us as we went on along. He took us down streets we wouldn’t have gone if it hadn’t been for the tour. If you want to understand a bit about the history then we would recommend this tour. Lots of photos and memories made Thankyou

Fabulous tour. Our host, Miho, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and customs of the geisha. She brought energy, humour and insight to the tour that made the two hours feel like 30 minutes. I recommend this tour.
