Our tour guide, Mark, was a great storyteller with a wealth of knowledge about the area and its history. We learned about the darker side of Soulard and St. Louis, including the Lemp Mansion. This tour was the highlight of our trip.

Great time! I did this same tour over 10 years ago and they have changed it up a bit, both were interesting.

Admittedly, at first, I was not sure what to expect considering it was my girlfriend's idea (she is a paranormal/true crime enthusiast). However, I cannot speak highly enough of our tour guide Mark. Though it was only us two, he kept his doors open for us on the evening of Memorial Day when he could have easily canceled. As a story teller, he has a way of speaking and shaping stories that was super engaging and detailed. We asked a ton of questions and he had the answers to every single one and overall he was a pleasure to be around. I do not want to spoil the tour or the details but it was surreal being in the basement of Lemp Brewery knowing its history and the severity of the crimes. 5/5 tour without a doubt and well worth the $25/person admission.

First time doing a ghost tour in Missouri and it did not disappoint. While we didn’t catch sight of a real “ghost”, our tour guide, Mark, was super knowledgeable about the area. I can honestly say, Mark was also one of the best tour guides we have had (and we have had a lot over the years) adding just the right amount of history, thrill, and subtle humor. We enjoyed the walking tour, but going inside of the old buildings was really an added experience. We had plenty of opportunity to take pictures and ask questions. No bathroom stops along the way, wear comfortable shoes and bring some cash $$ to tip Mark. He’s definitely worth it!

This was an excellent walking tour of the Lemp property and surrounding area. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. It’s a mixture of history, true crime, and paranormal stories. This is a great place to start If you’re interested in the history of the Lemp family and their impact on the city. I plan to return soon to do a ghost hunt tour.
