Problem downloading the audio application (we had to call the help service). Count on more than 2.5 hours if you want to enjoy the explanations, have a drink, or rest a bit... The audio guide has not been updated: an elevator was closed, and we had a bit of trouble finding our way. On the other hand, the explanations of the sites to see are clear.

The self guided tour did not meet my expectations. It was too confusing and hard to follow. I have used these in the past, but this one was nowhere near as good. the info was good, but finding the sites was too difficult. You had to have a working knowledge of Lisbon first for it to be effective. Even using my GPS, we could not find some of the sites. Eventually, we had to give up and just set out on our own. What is needed is better instructions and descriptions of what we are looking for. Also, you need to make it easier to reverse the journey as we were at the end of the tour when we finished an earlier tour. It was just not what I expected from my previous experiences with TripAdvisor.

The audio guide for Lisbon was a great way to explore the city! I liked how it guided me through different neighborhoods, especially Alfama and Baixa. The stories about the city's history and culture made the whole experience more meaningful. One thing I’d suggest is taking breaks between sections to really enjoy the views and maybe stop for a coffee or pastel de nata along the way. The guide was easy to follow and added a lot of depth to my trip.

I used the audio guide to explore Lisbon and it was one of the best decisions I made. I loved how I explained the history of the ancient yellow trams and elevators, like the Santa Justa Elevator, which are so iconic in the city. In addition, the guide offered very useful tips on how to get around the city, such as the best time to take Tram 28 without waiting so long in line. It was a perfect way to walk around the city at your own pace and learn without having to worry about missing out on some important story. I recommend it to everyone who wants a deeper and more practical experience in Lisbon.
