Local 3rd generation family owned/operated small business provides Private, custom Boat Charters, Day trips and tours of the Virgin Islands, with unique knowledge and understanding of local area, history & weather passed down 3 generations. Includes sightseeing, swim, snorkel, beach/bar hop, dine, shop, surf, kiteboarding, hike, cliff jumping & more. Choose duration, location, itinerary or we plan excursion! The boat is beautiful, very safe, smooth, comfortable, dry ride, award winning, "unsinkable" Cape Horn 31 XS model with quiet, reliable twin 250/300 horsepower Yamaha Four Stroke engines. Trip includes large (4') cooler w/ice, water, snorkel gear, noodles, fresh water rinse down, swim ladder, cushioned seating with shaded areas, 13 speaker JL audio marine stereo system comprised of tweeters, subwoofer, Bluetooth/USB/Aux chord connectivity/charging and all required US Coast Guard safety Equipment such as Life Jackets, Fire Extinguishers, Flares, VHF radio, First Aid Kit, Life rings.

5.00We've had two amazing experiences with Local Legend the past two spring breaks. Last year we had Captain Zach, last year we got Captain Chris. Both guys are great and will show you a fun time. We got to snorkel, see some turtles, take a look at sunken ship, etc. This was everybody's favorite day of the vacation both years.

5.00Chris is an excellent captain! He tailored the day to our desires and was very flexible with the agenda for the day. Sightseeing, snorkeling & lunch were all terrific. We spent time at & around Jost Van Dyke - completely fantastic. Our friends used Chris for a charter last year and this year that highly recommended Chris for our trip with them. Safety is top of mind with Chris. Oh yeah, Chris is a super nice guy. We highly recommend!

5.00Local Legends saved the day after our cruise booked snorkeling trip was cancelled literally at the last minute. Chris is a son of a son of sailor - and an expert on all things local marine. He tailored a fun day for us and was even able to do a drop back in the main port. Great memories snorkeling and visiting St. John. Thanks for taking us out with no notice.

5.00We had an amazing time on our private charter around the US Virgin Islands. Chris listened to what we were interested in doing, and tailored the trip to our liking. Would absolutely recommend doing this on your trip! It was definitely the most fun thing we got to do with snorkeling, jumping off the boat and just cruising around listening to music. My teenage nieces absolutely loved it, and they are hard to impress. Our only regret is we did not book a full day!

5.00Local Legends are the way to see the USVI! We had Captain Zach take us on a nice afternoon tour of St. Thomas and St. John. He hit so.e amazing spots, we saw sea turtles fish and everything in between. Amazing service, can't be beat! Amazing local knowledge and super personable.

5.00We are staying at Buoy Haus by Marriott in Frenchman's Bay and wanted a Waterview perspective of St. Thomas. The resort recommended Local Legend Charters and they didn't disappoint! Zack picked us up at The Westin (neighboring property) dock for a 1/2 day private boat trip. He took us to all the highlights Lavongo Sapphire Beach to swim in for a daiquiri Christmas Cove I even asked for the best grouper sandwich on the island and he researched and sent us to Twisted Cork. Omg fried grouper sandwich and duck fat fries! The perfect day!
Safe and so much fun for the whole family!

5.00This was such an amazing experience for me and my family! We Island hopped and went swimming on multiple beaches you can only access by boat (felt like private beaches), swam with sea turtles, and got lunch on Water Island! On top of all the fun, our boat Captain, Chris, communicated the rules so that we felt very safe, and gave us hourly reminders to reapply sunscreen. No one got burnt and we had a fantastic time with our family. 10/10 would charter with Local Legends again!

5.00If you go to the USVI get out on the water w Captain Chris. Wonderful trip seeing the USVI from the water. Snorkeling was better most places we have been and we were the only people on the reef. An experience not to be missed. Chris and his boat are first class!

5.00Amazing day on the water today with captain Phill. Made it to the Baths in record time with my wife and 2 kids from Saint John. A magical place. Definitely worth the trip. Loved snorkeling at the Indians afterward a little reef of shore and lunch at Pirates bight on Norten island. Phill took care of all the custom for us making it easy and hassle free.
