We saw the key points of interest in Male city. Our guide, Faisal, was fluent in English and explained the important details very clearly. He showed us the sting ray point and local market by the pier, sultan park, president house and secretariat and the monetary authority office , giving us the historical significance of each place. We enjoyed the experience a lot, thanks to Faisal.

Faisal gave us an interesting tour of Male. I particularly enjoyed the Maldivian Monetary Authority, where you could see all the very artful banknotes. I also enjoyed the local market, with all the smells, colors, exotic fruit, and fishes. The Sultan Park was beautiful !Faysal gave us a little glimpse into the Maldivian way of life.

After a wonderful week at a resort in the Maldives, it was time to head home. I arrived at the airport early in the afternoon and, with more than five hours before my flight, had plenty of time to explore Malé. As it was my first time in the Maldives, I decided to take a guided tour—and that’s when I met Faisal. With a warm smile and an impressive depth of historical and cultural knowledge, he showed me around the city, sharing insights about schools, mosques, historical landmarks, and local markets. The two-hour tour flew by—it felt like just 20 minutes. Afterwards, he took me to a local hotel with a beautiful view, where I spent my remaining time reflecting on my trip while enjoying a refreshing glass of lassi. What started as an unplanned stopover turned into a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend a tour of Malé with Faisal to anyone with a few hours to spare before their flight.

If you have a few hours to spare in Malé before your flight home, do yourself a favor and book a private tour with Faisal. My partner and I had a 5-hour gap between leaving our resort and our night flight, and Faisal made it the highlight of our last day. From the moment we met, he was incredibly warm, professional, and welcoming. He immediately took care of our luggage logistics so we didn't have to drag anything around. Faisal’s knowledge of Maldivian history and culture is amazing. He brought places like the Old Friday Mosque and the National Museum to life with stories you won't find in a guidebook. He kept a close eye on the clock and got us back to the airport ferry with plenty of time to spare, totally stress-free. If you want an authentic, safe, and deeply interesting look at the real Maldives, Faisal is your guy!

Faisal was our guide. They kept our bags safe and gave us cold water. We paid with our phone with revolut and was super convenient. They took us by taxi to the city center and gave us a private tour in English. We saw several monuments and got the chance to buy incredible and much cheaper souvenirs for family and friends. Highly recommend Don't go by yourself it is super crowded and confusing. The streets are very safe.
