From October to March each year, the Maokong Gondola operates on the first and third Mondays, and on Mondays during consecutive holidays. All other Mondays are designated for routine maintenance and the gondola will be suspended.

By metro: To reach Maokong Gondola Taipei Zoo Station, take the Wenshan-Neihu Line of the Taipei Metro to Taipei Zoo Station then walk to Maokong Gondola Taipei Zoo Station which is approximately 350m away
