MARTVILI CANYON: You will find yourself in one of the most beautiful and mysterious places in western Georgia - the Martvili Canyon, where the great king of the united Georgia, David the Builder, spent his childhood. For thousands of years, water has worked its way through soft limestone rock to create this natural wonder that will transport you to a fairytale world far from civilization. You will take a boat along the steep cliffs, see an underground river that turns into a waterfall at the exit of the canyon, and also examine the fossils preserved in the depths of the canyon. Prometheus Cave
PROMETHEUS CAVE: Of the thousands of caves in Imereti, Prometheus Cave is the largest and most impressive. Inside, you will be amazed by the shapes of stalactites and stalagmites that form frozen stone waterfalls, breathe in the healing air and see underground lakes, the surface of which has never been exposed to sunlight. And then you can sail out of the cave by boat along the bed of the underground river. 5.00Today's trip was to 3 places, a stalactite cave, Martvill Park and hot springs. The trip lasted about 13 hours with a coffee break along the way and dinner at the end. Although it rained towards the end, we did not give up and continued the wonderful cruise even in the rain. We would like to especially mention the attention and willingness to help of the guide Nini, who took care of us with an umbrella and personally watched over my wife so that she did not slip. In conclusion, it was not easy, but we really enjoyed the trip itself and the warm attitude of the guide Nini. Thank you, Chaya & Itzchak Fogel Israel

5.00This excursion was truly amazing! I cannot recommend this tour enough. As a seasoned traveler, I can sincerely declare it is one of the best I’ve ever taken. From the beginning, communication was excellent regarding pick-up and arrangements. The posh van was very comfortable, and most importantly, the guide, David, and driver Nugo, gave me a taste of legendary Georgian hospitality, taking exceptional care of us. David is an incredibly knowledgeable and gracious guide; a wealth of valuable information, as well as patient and accommodating. Additionally, he was able to answer every type of question about Georgian life, further reinforcing my interest in unique Georgian culture. The walk through the spectacular Promethius Caves was absolutely sensational, and David’s knowledge truly helped me appreciate the historical and biological significance. Martvili canyon was positively otherworldly, and David took us through the most beautiful parts of it, ensuring that each of us stayed comfortable. The food at the chosen restaurant was excellent. For the grand finale, the hot springs were absolutely worth the wait, seeing nature in all its splendor, and feeling the rejuvenating warm, sulfur rich water with the touch of a hand was so simple, yet so invigorating. This tour was an absolute gem, and our guide was a star!
