Fantastic day in the Mekong river delta

5.00We had a last minute port change on our cruise and the tour operator was very accommodating in meeting us instead at the HCMC freight terminal. Our guide, Soli, was very enthusiastic and informative. We spent the day visiting various places on islands in the river delta. Visited a coconut farm, took a trip in a sampan, had a hands on cooking lesson, went for an interesting bicycle ride, experienced local cuisine, saw a performance by local folk musicians and visited a serene Buddhist temple.
An all-world day trip to the Mekong Delta!

5.00David was quick to respond and accommodated our request for a day trip to the Mekong Delta. Our humble driver and guide Handsome Huy woke up extra early to be at our port in Phu My to ensure we made the most of our day. The tour was very well organized and we enjoyed the experience of venturing out of the big city. We did so many neat things throughout the day although we never felt rushed. We have some severe food allergies but they coordinated snacks and a nice Vietnamese lunch so we never missed out. Karaoke on the boat while we went across the Mekong Delta was all thanks to Huy. He’s an entertainer and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. Thanks for making our Anniversary day so special. 🇻🇳🇨🇦

5.00David Nguyen was really a great host in arranging mini tours for us all throughout Vietnam. I think we did about 10 tours total and all of them were very reasonably priced with experienced and knowledgeable local guides who spoke very good English. Highly recommend!!
