Beyond Ballooning is a family owned and operated business based right here in the Hunter Valley. Our flight team are local to the valley and have a true passion for ballooning and providing the best hot air balloon experience in Australia.
Hot air ballooning started in the Hunter Valley over 40 years ago and Beyond Ballooning have set the benchmark in excellence in all aspects of the ballooning experience ensuring a memorable morning during every minute.

What To Expect
- Weather Confirmed the Afternoon before your flight date - Meet our flight team at the specified team and partake in the mandatory safety briefing - Board our transfer bus and travel to balloon launch field - Watch as the hot air balloon comes to life during the inflation process - Board the hot air balloon and set off on an uplifting adventure - Enjoy 40-60 minutes of spectacular views of the Hunter Valley and surrounds - Upon landing help the flight team pack up the huge balloon after learning about how it all works from your pilot - Board our transfer bus to return to the meeting point - Enjoy a post flight breakfast with your pilot and fellow balloonists!

5.00What an amazing experience floating through the air. We were booked for a Saturday flight but due to the windy weather our flight was cancelled. We were rebooked for the Sunday and it was on. Beyond Ballooning, the pilot and staff were professional, friendly and helpful.

The horizon began to glow, soft hues of pink and gold spilling across the sky like liquid light. As the sun peeked over the edge of the earth, warmth touched my face, and the landscape beneath awoke—rolling hills, winding rivers, all bathed in golden morning. Suspended in the crisp air, time seemed to pause. There was no sound but the occasional burst of the burner, a reminder of our fragile, human flight. In that moment, floating between heaven and earth, I understood serenity. The sunrise wasn’t just seen; it was felt, a silent promise of new beginnings.

5.00What an amazing and wonderful experience. Booking was fast and hassle free. The whole experience was fun, staff were efficient and friendly. This flight is inclusive of buffet breakfast too. A must try experience. Unique and amazing.

5.00Great experience. I'm scared of heights but decided to face my fears. I had nothing to worry about. Felt safe the whole time. Views were fantastic and took lots of great pics. Breakfast at Blaxland Inn which was included in deal was delicious. Buffet with plenty to choose from. 5 stars out of 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
