What To Expect
Designed to be engaging & entertaining for adults! An incredibly fun & unique competition where you'll prove if your detective skills are good enough to solve a murder. Each team is given a list of suspects along with a packet of tricky clues, twisted riddles and mind-bending puzzles. All on foot, the logic-based clues will systematically lead you to explore historic Old Town San Diego. Using your wits and some creativity, each clue will reveal another piece of your investigation, and you'll eliminate innocent suspects until you've discovered... WhoDunIt? Your team will compete against other teams scattered throughout the area, each leading their own separate investigation. The team that reveals the murderer needing the least help from headquarters & is the fastest wins! This is NOT a Phone App. This is an event with a host and other teams. Bring a cell phone to call the helpline in case you get stumped, but a smart phone is not needed, and will not help you. No need to be familiar with the area or have any specialized knowledge to win. Great fun for both locals and tourists.

5.00The Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt was everything I hoped for and more for my 50th birthday. We had a group of 32 and every single person had a great time… even the ones who swore they “weren’t good” at this kind of thing. Alex ran the entire event flawlessly. The clues were clever, challenging, and genuinely fun to solve. We split into six teams; next time I’d aim for teams of 4–5 instead of 5–6, but that’s on me. I can’t recommend this event highly enough. It was the perfect mix of adventure, teamwork, and good laughs. I’m already planning to join one of Alex’s public scavenger hunts in the future. An unforgettable experience!

5.00Great time scavenging in Old Town San Diego today. Fun to work with teammates to figure out the clues and catch the killer! I’m a local and still saw areas of town and learned things I didn’t know about. Very cool!
