Mr. Matt really showed that he enjoys doing what he does. I found it excellent that he was on a first name basis with several people. He explained how they work together. He explained the pride some of the businesses had because they were passed down from the previous generation. My favorite places were Beck’s Cajun and Ma Lessie. I would definitely recommend this tour!

There's more to the Market than meets the eye! Matt explained its history to us, showed how it's family-oriented, and pointed out how several vendors sell meats and produce to other vendors. He also pointed out his personal-favorite products! Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this tour with Tootsie! She knows everything and everyone because she used to be a vendor at the market for 30 years! Tootsie was friendly and funny! We learned about the history of the market and about certain specific vendors. Also the tour included a couple of delicious treats. After the tour was over, we explored the market some more and had some food. The tour definitely enhanced our experience of the market. We love making real human connections when we travel.

Great to spend a full day walking , smelling and tasting. So many different kinds of shops, food from breakfast to snacks to full time dinner. The best places have long libes like Chicken Waffles, Ice Cream stops and everything Philadelphia. Everyone is very friendly and just a great time to walk and see all.

I arranged this tour for a group. Matt was very easy to work with (he even accommodated my last minute changes). Tootsie did our tour of Reading Terminal Market. She knew everything there was to know about the market. After our tour, Matt met up with us and we did a scavenger hunt. It was a fun way to end our tour.

The tour guide did not turn up. I waited for over half an hour and I was at the meeting place 15 minutes early. Very unprofessional.

We learned so much about a place I’d been to many times. I never knew the history and early evolution of the Reading Terminal Market. It was really fun to take my kids and watch them decide which foods to try.

It was a productive and fun way to spend 45 minutes. Before taking the tour I always felt overwhelmed upon entering the market. I never did more than step inside and upon witnessing the hustle and bustle step back out. The market seemed crowded, enormous and overwhelming. The tour covered the history of the market, the composition and types of shops, lots of fun fact and a couple of local snacks. I learned that the lines move quickly and the vendors are friendly! I no longer feel intimidated but instead comfortable.
