What To Expect
Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park
06.00am: we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Jhor, the starting point of our hiking. We will trek for 3 hrs to Kakani through Shivapuri – Nagarjuna national park. The trek involves walking through forests inhabited by many wildlife animals such as wild boar, barking deer, leopard cat and over 50 species of birds. 10.00am: We expect to reach Kakani by 10am where we will visit a local school and meet with headmaster and faculty members. Based on your knowledge and experience, you will be assigned for teaching, dancing, hygiene, sports etc. Kakani is also a famous viewpoint to Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Manaslu and Gorkha Himal range. 03.00pm: By 3pm we will leave Kakani and drive back to Kathmandu. Note 1: You will carry breakfast pack for hiking to Kakani. Inform your hotel for breakfast preparation and packing. Note 2: No lunch will be provided by the school. So, you are advised to bring along dry foods.
