Do not hesitate for a minute to hire April in Paris! We had the most amazing half-day tour in May. April led us on an incredible walking tour from our hotel in the Marais to Notre-Dame, through the Latin Quarter, to the flower market, back to Notre-Dame, and finally to Fleur de l'Île for lunch with a beautiful view of the cathedral. We were in Paris for a wedding that happened to fall close to our 10th anniversary. It was our first time in this magical city and I knew there would be so much to see that we needed some local expertise to help us make the most of our time. Our eight-year-old son also happens to be obsessed with Notre-Dame de Paris—to the point that my husband and I joked he was going on the trip for Notre-Dame and staying for the wedding and souvenirs! When I first reached out to April, I shared all of this with her, and she absolutely delivered. She communicated wonderfully throughout the planning process, explained what she had in mind for our tour, and made everything easy from start to finish—including letting us know when she arrived at our hotel so we could find her easily. As we walked through the Marais, April shared fascinating history and fun facts, including introducing us to FlashInvaders, a citywide game that lets you "collect" the mosaic tile artworks hidden throughout Paris. Knowing how excited our son was about Notre-Dame, she took extra time to learn even more about the cathedral so she could share some truly incredible details with him. She also told us about her personal experience of being in Paris when the fire occurred and what it was like to witness the city's response to such a heartbreaking event. April made our visit to Notre-Dame incredibly special and memorable. She kept our son's attention the entire time, which is no small feat! Afterward, she took some wonderful family photos and then led us to her favorite souvenir shop, where our son found the perfect Notre-Dame keepsake to bring home. As we continued through the Latin Quarter, April shared more stories and local insights and took us to the most delicious crêpe stand—one we're still talking about weeks later. (Two of us ordered sugar and lemon, and one chose butter and sugar.) We then visited the Marché aux Fleurs, which was absolutely beautiful and filled with stunning blooms. Toward the end of the tour, we stopped at the outdoor exhibit at Notre-Dame to learn more about the fire and restoration efforts and listened as our son and April enthusiastically discussed theories about the cause of the fire. It was such a thoughtful touch that she embraced his curiosity and excitement. Finally, April took us to Fleur de l'Île, helped us secure a table with a view of Notre-Dame, and made sure we didn't leave without trying what she called the "healthiest" and most delicious Berthillon ice cream. We had an absolutely wonderful time with April. She perfectly tailored the tour to our family's interests and made our first visit to Paris unforgettable. We would not hesitate to book another tour with her and hope to do so the next time we're lucky enough to visit Paris. Thank you, April, for helping create one of our favorite memories from an incredible trip.

Our family used April and her team for two tours - the Louvre and history of beauty and both were fantastic! Our family has two teens and both enjoyed the tours as much as the adults. The guides were great at engaging them and making history fun. I have one kid that loves art and another that would prefer never to see a museum and both said they loved the tours! They also make you feel so comfortable and like friends immediately which made the days just so easy and enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend April and wish I could visit again just to see her and her team. ❤️

I can only rave about April and Dunja as our tour guides! April led us on a walking tour of Paris, sharing stories that brought the city's rich history to life. Her deep passion for Paris is evident in everything she does. She has an incredible ability to uncover hidden gems and point out fascinating details that most visitors would otherwise miss. Beyond her knowledge, April is warm, kind, and exceptionally personable, making the experience feel less like a tour and more like exploring the city with a knowledgeable friend. Dunja was our guide at Versailles, and, just as she did during our visit last year, she brought the palace and its history to life with engaging stories, historical insight, and enthusiasm. Her expertise and storytelling transformed what could have been simply a beautiful visit into a truly memorable experience. She skillfully connected the people, events, and grandeur of Versailles in a way that was both educational and entertaining. Together, April and Dunja made our trip unforgettable. Their knowledge, passion, and genuine care for their guests set them apart. If you're considering a tour with April in Paris, don't hesitate; you'll come away with a deeper appreciation for Paris and France.

April gave the two of us an eight hour, 15 km walking tour (along with a couple of subway rides) of virtually all of the major monuments in Paris. She was really friendly and easy to talk to/get along with and very knowledgable. We had a tremendous day. What an amazing experience! I highly recommend her. Thanks again, April!

April is simply outstanding in every way. We spent 4 days with her in May touring Paris and Champagne; she could not have been more welcoming, informative, funny and genuine. She sized up our group ranging up to 88 years old and adapted accordingly, taking my mother-in-law aside for her own private tour at times so that we could explore on our own. From history lessons to the top finds in fashion and food, her years of living in Paris shine through. We even have a "Diplomate de Sabre" in our group to show for it! Well worth it, we hope to return for a repeat visit with April in Paris.

April was a lovely guide of her beautiful city. She was sensitive to our mobility limitations and requests. Gave us tips that made the rest of our stay when we were on our own even easier. And made some great foodie recommendations. Hot chocolate …yummmm. Would definitely book again next time we are in Paris.

We did a full day walking tour with April in early April 2026. It was fantastic! From her communication ahead of time to showing us where to have our first croissant of the day to adjusting to what we wanted to see and knowing which champagne to order at lunch - we could not have had a better experience. She even took notes throughout the day regarding our questions and sent us addition recommendations for the rest of our time in Paris. You could easily spend a couple of days with her and enjoy every minute of it. I highly recommend using April for a tour when you are in Paris.

My family recently visited Paris and I contacted my go to guide, April in Paris, to organise a tour for us, in parts of Paris that most people don’t usually visit, and it was amazing. She showed us where an old guillotine was found, secret parks, beautiful views and introduced my nephew to Space Invaders too - who is now obsessed. Another fabulous day spent with the best guide in Paris. Merci April

April met us at our hotel and showed us all of the best places to go in our area! She is such a delight! Not only did we get to sample some of the best cheeses, chocolates, and pastries all within walking distance of hotel, she was extremely informative about the history of everything that we saw. April made us feel like we were visiting Paris with our best friend! I highly recommend her tours!
