  Rahul, his father Pandit Manohar all ji and their team took great care of us. Traveling from abroad and being an unfamiliar place made us very anxious. Rahul was reachable personally and his reassuring approach amidst several issues with TripAdvisor was big differentiator. Their cost for services were also very reasonable and most of all we were able to utilize our time effectively to perform all the rituals with the right pandita knowing the rituals per our customs. Thanks a lot. I'd highly recommend Rahul and good company to any one who's planning a trip to Gaya.

  It was long in my mind to visit Gaya during Pitrupaksh where there is a mela for offering to liberate your ancestors soul from the eternal cycle of rebirth. according to Hindus Gaya is the best place where Sita Ji did the Pindadan offering to King Dashratha . The Falgu river ,the Vishnupad Mandir and the Akshay Vat tree is where the pindadan is offered. I visited from Pune but as due to flight timings had to board a flight form Mumbai to Patna and stayed in a hotel during Pitrupaksha and next day early morning reached Pandit Gautam residence in Gaya whom i had contacted before cell no in case anyone needs 92342 70031 a very knowledge person and very reasonable and frank persona. His assistant Mr Deepak narrated the whole Pindadan ritual of Sitaji, Lord Shri Ram and Laxman it was amazing to here it. The whole process lasted for 3 hours where i performed Pindadan for my entire family ie who were in my family tee and had expired plus my mothers relation and my Friends,my pets etc. All the commodities were arranged according to your Budget by Pandit Gautam ji .Gautam Ji maintains all the records of people including the date and time when it is done in his register. The Pindadan can be done by any of the sons not necessary by the eldest son. Even daughters and close relatives (female) can offer Pindadan in Gaya to attain Sad Gati or Moksha. The Sita Ji curse story can also be heard while performing the ritual of Pindadan by the Pandit ji. I had asked the Pandit Ji Mr Gautam whether I can perform my own Pindadan as i am unaware of future as to who will perform my Pindadan he replied in negative there are someone doing it but it is no advisable in Hindu religion as then you become pret atma and you cannot go back to your house for 33 days etc etc. I had a good feeling of Enlightenment doing the Pindadan of My parents and my ancestors etc. Happily returned to Pune Via Patna Delhi Flight and then the connecting Delhi Pune flight overall a good heavenly experience In Gaya . Please book all travel and Stay options in Advance the road from Patna the travel time is three hours please note. Now one thing to add the cook coming to our house Mrs Aarti has done her own Pindadan some five years back she has a family but her wish and choice.

  We have just vacated the room at Andhra Telangana Bhavan. Rooms are super clean. Very close to Vishnu Pad. We get Telugu purohit for Pinda pradhaan here, especially for Brahmins. Essentially what we are paying is to an organisation which is working in welfare of tourists. Staff are good too. They'll Arrange for sight seeing nearby.

  If anyone wants details of gaya shraddha please refer this as I am sharing my experience as on March 26th 2002. Indigo flight from Bangalore 4:40 am to Delhi. Flight rates change on a daily basis. 7:30am we are in Delhi igi airport and can have breakfast. As usual it is a bit costly. 11:25am indigo flight from Delhi to Gaya. Yes Gaya has a domestic airport. We reach gaya at 1:00 pm afternoon. Karnataka bhavan is 7 kms from Gaya airport. You can hire auto for 300 rs. There is no ola or uber service in gaya. At Karnataka bhavan bhatru name is Pavan acharya. He offers the shraddha services along with room, food. You have to take panche shalya only. The rest is taken care by Karnataka bhavan. Shraddha will start from next day morning from 8am onwards after bath and breakfast.Pavan acharya himself conducts it in great detail. Totally 108 pindas are made in batches of 36 each and you can offer pinda to anyone in your family along with your wife's family. All materials are given by Karnataka bhavan. Total cost of shraddha services is 1500 only. Food and accommodation charges are separate.Roughly 1000 for 2 days. They also arrange for auto if requested with Pavan acharya. Pinda is given in three places by a guide in phalghu river to cows, vishnupada temple (about 900 meters) from Karnataka bhavan and near akshaya vati. You must leave Three things one vegetable, one sweet and one leaf permanently Your baggage can be locked in the room given at Karnataka bhavan. Guide charges 100 minimum. Vishnupada temple 100 and akshaya vati 100. Auto back to Gaya airport 400rs. 4:45pm evening indigo flight from Gaya to Kolkata. One hour journey. 5:30pm we are in Kolkata Airport. 7:00pm indigo flight from Kolkata to Bangalore reaching here at 10:40pm. So 2 days going and back to Bangalore. All the best for those who plan to go.

  Overall ,, it was a good experience in VIshnupad Temple . Special thanks to Manohar Ji for coming to hotel and pick me up and explained in detail on the things need to be done . He was around through out during the prayers with no interference . It was smooth and easy .

  They made our end to end arrangements. i.e Pick up from Patna Airport, Local Sight seeing and most important Pind pradhanam as per authentic south indian Rituals by a South Indian Purohit. The rooms were very clean and we were very satisfied by the Puja. My Father was provided with wheel chair assistance also. Manohar Lal Ji arranged Puja
