What To Expect
Arrive on the traditional lands of the Worimi people in the tranquil coastal village of Nelson Bay. Depart on 90-minute Dolphin Discovery Cruise with Moonshadow Cruises on the turquoise blue waters of Port Stephens, a veritable marine wonderland. This extraordinary natural harbour is home to some 140 bottle nose dolphins who will entrance you by their playful and intelligent nature as they frolic around the boat or surf the bow waves. Be mindful to also look out for other wildlife including pelicans, sea eagles, the occasional seal and of course humpback whales during the winter months.

5.00I searched veltra for a Japanese guided tour and applied here. We were the only pair of Japanese participants on the day, but our Japanese guide Mayuko followed us and gave us explanations in Japanese! The first dolphin cruise also saw a lot of dolphins in the best place thanks to the first guide. Thank you very much. If you are in midsummer, we recommend you bring your own Crocs and change of clothes. The sand slide at the end will be quite sandy.

5.00Fantastic day with our driver Yan being a real star. The Dolphins were out in numbers and the views breathtaking from Port Stephen The Koala sanctuary was special too and has to be worth a visit to support what they are doing Then topped off with sand boarding taking me back to being a 5 year old sledging back home im the UK Worth every penny and will do this again when we come back

5.00This was one of the best tours I have ever taken. Yan (our driver) took very good care of us. The dolphin cruise was very exciting and relaxing. The meal onboard was very tasty. I fell in love at the Koala Sanctuary. This is a must visit place and even offers glamping places to stay. It was truly inspiring. We ended with sand boarding at the Sand dunes. I have never done this before and it was so much fun. Overall the whole tour is a must! You will truly enjoy yourself.

5.00Went on a 1 day Port Stephen's tour [Dolphin Cruise Watch, Koala's Sanctuary, 4WD Sandboarding], awesome tour plan. More people should visit Koala's Sanctuary, got a lot of Koala's to see and visit. Driver & Tour Guide [Yan] is a good driver, always taking care of the whole tour group with snacks, water, and toilet break. Recommend to join this tour.
