Boston
Depart from Boston and travel north into the scenic landscapes of coastal Maine. As city streets give way to rocky shores and pine forests, the journey itself becomes part of the experience. This comfortable transfer sets the tone for two days of fresh air, sweeping views, and classic New England charm. Itinerary: Boston → Fort Williams Park & Portland Lighthouse (Optional, 40 mins) → Acadia National Park In-depth Tour (Mandatory, 120mins, Cadillac Mountain 45 mins + Sand Beach 30 mins + Thunder Hole 45 mins included)
Portland Head Light
(Optional) Perched dramatically on the rocky coastline, Portland Head Light is Maine’s oldest lighthouse and one of the most photographed in the United States. Commissioned by George Washington in 1791, it stands as a timeless symbol of New England’s maritime heritage. The surrounding park offers panoramic Atlantic views, rugged cliffs, and postcard-worthy scenery in every direction.
Acadia National Park
One of America’s most treasured national parks, Acadia blends granite peaks, forested trails, and dramatic coastline into a landscape unlike anywhere else on the East Coast. This guided experience ensures you see the park’s most iconic highlights while learning about its geological history and conservation legacy. Every stop is carefully selected to showcase Acadia’s wild beauty.
Cadillac Mountain
Rise above the Atlantic coastline atop Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the U.S. East Coast. From its summit, sweeping views stretch across islands, forests, and open ocean. On clear days, the scenery feels endless—an unforgettable perspective that defines the Acadia experience.
Sand Beach
Tucked between rocky headlands, Sand Beach offers a rare stretch of soft shoreline framed by granite cliffs. The contrast of turquoise water against rugged terrain creates a striking natural setting. It’s the perfect place to pause, breathe deeply, and take in Acadia’s coastal elegance.
Thunder Hole
When waves rush into this narrow inlet, the result is a thunderous boom and dramatic sea spray. Thunder Hole showcases the raw power of the Atlantic in spectacular fashion. Timing and tide make each visit unique, adding an element of anticipation and excitement.
Boston
Relax and recharge after a full day of exploration. Surrounded by Maine’s tranquil atmosphere, the evening offers a quiet contrast to the day’s dramatic landscapes.
Acadia National Park
In the morning, follow us and take the local boat to learn about the wild marine animals, for example, the living habits of Maine lobsters. And you can watch the whole process of local fishermen catching lobsters. Then we will go to the ancient Bar Harbor. You can taste the most famous French steamed lobster, lobster ice cream, blueberry ice cream, blueberry cake and other local food in Maine at your own expense. Itinerary: Hotel → Acadia Natural Ecological Cruise (Optional, 150 mins) → Bar Harbor Free Time (150 mins, including lunch time) → Boston
Acadia National Park
Experience Acadia from the water on a guided ecological cruise through pristine coastal waters. Keep watch for seabirds, seals, and local marine life while learning about the region’s unique ecosystem. The perspective from the sea reveals hidden coves and rugged shorelines inaccessible by land.
Bar Harbor
This charming seaside town offers classic New England character with waterfront views and inviting streets. Enjoy fresh lobster, browse local boutiques, or simply stroll along the harbor soaking in the coastal atmosphere. It’s a relaxed, authentic taste of Maine life.
Boston
Conclude your journey with a comfortable return to Boston, bringing back memories of ocean cliffs, mountain summits, and the unmistakable beauty of coastal New England.
