Please, note that entering the Jewish Synagogues premises inappropriately dressed is prohibited (e.g. without outer clothing, with exposed arms, shoulders and abdomen, in a swimsuit, without shoes).
Upon entering the Old Jewish Cemetery and the Old New Synagogue, men are required to wear head coverings, either their own or one provided for this purpose.

5.00Our guide Peter gave an excellent tour of the synagogues, history, and culture of the Jewish quarter. It ran slightly long, which was not ideal since the tour is already long, but he did a fantastic job bringing the history to life and sharing current Jewish culture with us. I’d highly recommend this tour and Peter.
