This was a great tour. We saw a lot in a short time. Our guide Brett was very excited about his job and was very knowledgeable with commentary the entire trip. Would definitely recommend this tour if you are only in Stka a few hours on a cruise stop and want to see as much of Sitka as you can.

The people and tour itself was great and we saw everything mentioned with plenty of time at each stop. The reason for 4 stars not 5 was that we were the only 2 from a particular cruise ship. The other people booked onto the same trip were coming from another cruise ship which was delayed docking. So whilst we booked our tour to start at 11am we didn’t start the tour until after 12 as we had to wait for the other ship. Which I think needs to be mentioned in the explanation as we had other things planned around the timing of this trip. We didn’t think it was fair that we had to be delayed when we arrived in plenty of time on the understanding our tour started at 11am.

Guide was very knowledgeable and informative. Able to use his local knowledge to help us to locate and see brown bear up close. Enjoyed raptor center to understand methods used to rehabilitate birds. Very good tour.

Small group tour that hits many highlights of Sitka in just a few hours. Our guide Lawrence was fantastic and told us all about his history growing up in the area. He really made the difference and made this tour exceptional. We loved fortress of the bear and the Sitka park walk the most because of the natural beauty and entertaining bears

Our tour guide, Brett Davis, was over the top, the best. He was so personable and friendly that you couldn’t help but be happy with him. He was extremely knowledgeable about the island and the wildlife. He pointed out scores of Bald Eagles along the various roads. We went to see the bears in their rescue center, the raptors (eagles, owls, etc) at their center and he had amazing stories about everything. The van was clean, comfortable and easy to get into and out of (with Brett offering a helping hand).we highly recommend this tour group

We had five stops on this tour and each of the stops felt just a little too short. An extra 30 minutes for the entire tour, or taking out one of the five stops would have made for a better experience. That being said, our tour guide was great, shared lots of great knowledge of the city of Sitka, and overall we had an enjoyable time.
